New review 9/10/24 Had receipt with code for free whopper, buy fries & drink. I customized it to add cheese, but no pickles or lettuce. Young lady was new to this type of transaction, after several minutes & attempts the manager finally took over ringing me up. The line guy in back questioned the no pickle no lettuce, Mgr said 'yes and add cheese to it'. I saw the guy grab a sandwich from the front warmer, unwrapped it, added cheese then re-wrapped it & put it back up on the warmer. I presumed it was already mine, but...I got home, bit into my sandwich & into a pickle! I took the top bun off & saw 3 slices and lettuce! Do they not know how to read the order on the monitor? Or follow up after Q & A with the mgr about the order? I'm glad the old crew was gone, but BK needs to make sure that new hires are thoroughly trained for their positions. 'Have it your way' apparently doesn't mean anything anymore, at least at this location. I wasn't even given a receipt this time, so couldn't do the survey to let corporate know. I'll probably go to a different location next time I crave a whopper. This makes 5 restaurants in my neighborhood I now avoid, due to extremely crappy service. I have to go out of my way just to get decent food & service! The following review is from April '24: Custom sandwich incorrect...ordered a whopper with no pickle or lettuce...but it had 5 pickle slices and NO tomato. Tried to call to speak to manager, but no one picked up...went to voice-mail. My first visit I ordered one breakfast sandwich, which came up to 3 dollars and some change. I look up and see the advertisement that you can get two sandwiches for 4 bucks. I asked the gentleman why he didn't suggest that and let me know I could have gotten another sandwich for a bit more and he replied, "because we have a big sign up". 12.6.18 Next visit I ordered two breakfast sandwiches, the first ham and cheese no egg and the second sausage and cheese no egg. I get to work and both are sausage. I call the restaurant and they wrote my name in a book for replacement. 12.11.18 Went in for my replacement order. Andre (at least that is what it said on the receipt) waited on me, no good morning, no smile or anything, just obvious annoyance that I came to get my replacement order. I also ordered and paid for hash browns. Stupid me for not checking the bag. I get to work and do NOT have the hash browns. I even asked for ketchup which should have triggered the fact that I didn't have my hash browns. I once again call and am asked if I want to come back and get them. Um, I am at work and cannot come back. As a matter of fact, given the customer service and the nonchalant attitude of the employees, I will not be back. Read moreI pulled up to the drive thru and place my order only to realize that nothing was being rang up so there was no confirmation on the screen I was told that please pull around for your total. Then I pay for the food to get the receipt to realize that the order is wrong. I proceeded to tell them that it was wrong and what I had ordered was not what I had been rang up for. The young man at the register tried to be helpful but he eventually has to get the manager. So this is why I will never go back to this location until they make some drastic changes. The manager tells me that I didn't order that because it's not on the receipt and he didn't hear me say that over the headset. Little does he know that I work at taco bell for 13 years as an employee and management and that is no way to ever treat a customer and especially no way to run a location. What's the purpose of a confirmation screen if you don't use it? The screen is there for accuracy but if you're up there freestyling people's orders and expecting to get it right you're not properly utilizing the tools you have and you're definitely not following policy.
