I recently moved here and this is the store closet to my home. I don’t really like going because it’s always a long wait. Literally EVERY TIME. Well I seen the commercial saying pretzel pizza was back, so of course I went to order it after I picked up a few groceries. The cashier said it’s a 15 minute wait. I said that’s fine. Then the manager Paulo or Pablo comes and says, it’ll be a 20 minute wait. I’m not too thrilled about it but I already paid so I said fine. By the 25 min mark I’m the only person in the store so I stand up to see if my pizzas are ready. I ordered two. I see the cashier is slicing it and adding finishing touches. Someone walks in, so she stops and take the customer’s order, I on the other hand have been waiting over 25 mins now and all she has to do is close the box on my second pizza. So I see another employee and the manager standing by my pizza talking so I asked if someone can please give me my pizzas since it’s sitting there getting cold. They ignore me. The manager also already had an attitude from when he told me 20 mins and said also said yeah I had a lot of orders. Mind you the place is pretty empty. So I guess he’s mad with an attitude because I asked if he can give me my pizzas. So he takes my pizzas and starts to put them in the warmer. I tell him those are mines and he says no there for another customer. I say I’m sure I’m the customer I’ve been waiting 30 mins now. I ask if he can check the order number. So he takes the pizzas and place them on the counter. And let’s them sit and refuses to give me my pizzas. I ask what did I do to him for him to refuse me service. He says he’s not and I said you’re not giving them to me so you are. So I ask for a refund and he takes about 5 mins to do that. He doesn’t give me any proof that he gave me a refund. I ask for a receipt showing a refund. He refuses but finally gives me one. So I leave. When I came home I realize the receipt actually said reprint on it. So I go back to ask for prof of a refund. He tells me that he’s calling the owner who I’ve already asked for contact info on which he refused. He called the police instead. I explained to the police what happened. Mind you I’ve been calm the whole time. This manager just wanted to be mean for whatever reason. I assumed he had a bad day making pizzas. So the police did show me a receipt that said voided on it which I admit I mistakenly missed. But the police agreed he could’ve just showed me that but instead he choose to take the ride route. I have called corporate and am waiting on a reply. He wasted my time and also cold food I had sitting in my car. At this point I want an apology from this manager. I also believe he called the other location and told them to do something to my food if I was there. I heard the manager at the store on 38th receive a phone call and start speaking in Spanish. Then when I came home with my pizzas I realized they weren’t even sliced. So at this point I will beg papa johns to make pretzel pizzas. Because I will not support little...
Read moreI waked into your establishment very HUNGRY! In fact i had been so busy throughout the day that i had not had a real meal yet. I had a van full of children with me. I placed my order, which totaled just over $25, and to my dismay when i went to pay with a $50 bill i was denied service. I was told by the employee as well as a manager/team lead that they could not accept my fifty dollar bill. I was taken aback. That was the only form of payment i had!! and even though my purchase was more than half of the payment amount i was still denied!THEY LET ME WALK OUT OF THE STORE HUNGRY AND WITH NO PIZZA! Not because i couldn't pay but because my cash was to large???
They claimed it was store policy?!! I find that to be ridiculous and highly discriminatory! What if you don't own a credit card? what if in my case you had no smaller bills?? With all the competition on that block and with Pizza Hut just around the corner (who btw offer better quality pizza) they really let me leave the store!
So i did just that and went around the corner to Pizza Hut and got awesome service and better pizza and at 9:30 they didn't have any problems with...
