China Inn — Restaurant in Indianapolis

THIS PLACE IS HORRID! I spent $40 for 2 meals, a few egg rolls and a fried rice. About normal for Chinese food. However the portions were atrocious. There was maybe a cup of vegetables in my meal with the remainder of the container filled with rice. The same happened with the other meal. Hidden rice. I essentially paid $9 per meal for rice. It appeared to be half and half but once I started to eat it was easily noticed. When I called to complain and ask for my meal to be remade they made excuses so I just ask for my money back. Upon going in the woman that waited on me precedes to tell me that I am crazy and that the portions are correct. I then showed her what I was talking about and she said it was my problem not a problem on their end and told me to leave. She then tried to involve the police officer that was sitting there which was a total fail. I did end up getting my refund being told to not return. I WOULD NOT GO BACK IF I WAS PAID TO DO SO. And if the woman that waited on me yesterday is reading this...i ordered General Tso's chicken, moo goo gai pan, fried rice and egg rolls. I am very sure you remember me. This place needs to be shut down seriously. I read the reviews here before I made my own and I can testify the rudeness towards customers.

They always take forever to answer and when they do, they do not want to take ANY order! This is not exaggeration by the way! The lady sounds like she’s sleep next to the phone and as if you are annoying her!

Like the reviews say, they will tell you to wait 90mins but my delivery came early (TOO EARLY). I tried to tolerate them because they’re the only Chinese restaurant that delivers where I live but the food is NEVER fully cooked! Delivery too early, food not cooked to the fullest, and a rude ass delivery driver who expects a big tip. 3 bucks doesn’t seem enough for him, he thinks he deserves $20 for a 5min drive to my house.

When I got my early barely cooked food I felt sick to my stomach! It tasted like they threw it on the floor and then put it on the skillet! It was so gross I threw it away, I couldn’t bare it! That was the last time I’d tolerate them!

I love Chinese food but I’ve never had bad service from anywhere until now. Please...

The Delivery time was good but the guy who takes the orders is kind of rude and rushes you to get off the phone. The Szechuan chicken is good but the Bourbon chicken is very dry and tastes overcooked I called and complained and the girl said that is how their bourbon chicken is made in which I told her I have been to many places with bourbon chicken and never had such dry overcooked chicken in my life and after going back in forth they offered to put a new one under my phone number for the next time I order and I told them that was fine but I perfer to have something different than that bourbon chicken next time I called and she just said that a bourbon chicken would be on there for me next time.
