Well like all pawn shops the whole process is to me a scam, a con, I mean you go in with a 5,000 dollar watch that you bought the day before and need the money you paid for it back and the pawn shop gives you 500 dollars, or only offers you 500, which to me is unreasonable and unfair, how they come up with the prices I guess we will never know but the good thing the pawn shops offer is the chance to get your items back by pawning them not selling, this is only good for when you need quick cash for emergencies, but my advice to anyone considering selling something that is worth a lot of money is before you make that choice to do business with a pawnshop, if pawning with the idea that you will get your items back out just be 100% sure that you can because if not you will lose those items before you know it, if you are just wanting to get rid of something just be aware that if you bought the item two days before taking it to the pawn shop and you payed 1000 bucks for the item and have your hopes up of getting 1000 dollars for it your hopes with be dashed when they tell you that they can only offer you 100 dollars for it, I have made that mistake many times and been disappointed, so look for any other options to sell your stuff like maybe on-line market places or...
Read moreI visited the store to look for Samsung Galaxy s25 ultra telephones. I found one that was listed for sale at $690. When I turned the phone on, the battery was down to 2% charge. I alerted the clerk that being so low on the battery that the features of the telephone would probably not work as expected. She said they would need to put it on charger, which was included within the items for sale with this phone.
I returned to the store 24 hours later(5 onto 5 pm), and asked to check out this same telephone. The phone was completely dead. The clerk, who does not seem to give a rat's ass or a flying f* or a slow blow on the rolling donut, whatever, did not find time (which would have taken literally under 1 minute) to put this cell phone on a charger.
Again, they had listed this cell phone for sale at $690. I would think that even the laziest, most unmotivated, total -complete out -of -it-clerk would have said " damn this phone is dead as an MFR, I need to charge this MFR up if I'm ever going to sell this MFer. ".
But, as I have stated, that is not the case at this particular EZ pawn. I discerned that the clerks do not give a flying f* whether they sell anything or not, which makes me question whether they are on commission, straight hourly, or...
Read moreUnfortunately I had a really poor experience. The woman "helping" me was totally distracted and it took her an hour to price about five common, name brand, standard items. Dozens of other customers came and went while I was waiting for a quote and even when she occasionally inspected one of my few items (over the course of an hour), she was unnecessarily negative about them saying how she didn't like them. She indicated there was nothing objectively wrong, the products didn't appeal to her. While I was at the counter waiting for my quote, she idly chatted with other employees and customers, and generally goofed around. She finally quoted me a price that was outrageously low, about 20% what the shop could list the products at. The shop has to make a margin, but she admittedly would list my items in store for ~$400 and offered me $70. I wouldn't have been too disappointed about the lazy and incompetent quote if I didn't have to wait an hour to get it and listen to her needlessly criticize my products. I've been to a lot of honest and helpful pawn shops, this location...
