I went here yesterday to get chow mein. They told me that their chow mein was not noodles, and that what I was actually looking for was lo mein, which I had also ordered. They insisted that the only noodles they serve are lo mein and claimed, "If you go to any Chinese restaurant, they will tell you the exact same thing." What I received was chop suey. After looking it up, I found that some places do label chop suey as chow mein due to regional differences. However, this restaurant's own menu clearly separates the two dishes. When I pointed this out, they refused to acknowledge the distinction and repeated that “if you go to any Chinese restaurant, you'll see the exact same thing,” which is simply not true. There are many places that list chow mein as a stir-fried noodle dish, and this restaurant itself offers both chow mein and chop suey as separate items. Their refusal to admit this or even consider the discrepancy was both dismissive and misleading. In addition to that, my boyfriend asked for mango to be added to his black tea, which is a very common request. Rather than just preparing the drink, they told him that “mango would make it bitter.” He had to argue with them for almost ten minutes just to get a simple drink made the way he asked for it. I will be sharing examples of other Chinese restaurants in the area that list chow mein as noodles, as well as screenshots of this restaurant's own menu, which shows the same thing. I used to order from here regularly through Uber Eats. Even when we have visited in person, the staff have consistently been rude and unhelpful. One time, my boyfriend, who is allergic to shellfish, ordered beef lo mein. We confirmed the order at the end of the phone call, but they still brought out shrimp and beef lo mein. Instead of promptly correcting the mistake, they made him feel uncomfortable before eventually preparing the correct dish. The food here is good, but the service is consistently frustrating. If you choose to order, be sure to double check everything. If anything goes wrong, they will not take responsibility and will make the situation difficult to resolve. It is one thing to explain that you do not carry a particular item, which I would have accepted. But speaking down to customers while denying what is clearly printed on your own menu is unacceptable. The menu includes “Chow Mei Fun,” which literally refers to stir-fried rice noodles. I had clearly described what I was looking for dry, stir-fried noodles without heavy sauce and instead of simply stating they did not offer that style, they insisted I was wrong and that lo mein was the only possible option. The tea and the Chow mei thing happened yesterday. The person who took the call for the lo mein was different from yesterday. Just to clarify

This is how they DELIVERED MY FOOD, This is not Safe Serve and They did not Bring back my Soda which cost $4.55 and I even gave an$8. Tip, I order 4 orders of Teriyaki Chicken on a Stick because I work two jobs. This was my Favorite Restaurant. But For my Food to come to me Non Safe Serve. Everyone knows Pesticides and Dust are in and Brown Lunch Sacks… I cannot Eat This food.. I am very Disappointed!!!! Thank you for bringing my Soda Korine Bailey

I wanted to like this place. I ordered their lunch special of the boneless spareribs over fried rice with an egg roll. However when I got back to work I realized that they didn't give me the drink or egg roll that the special was supposed to come with. Partly my fault for not checking too I guess. The pork was not as good as I hoped but for $10 I didn't expect a ton. I wouldn't return.

Ordered Happy Family, General Tso's Chicken, Vegetable Lo Mein and a double order of Crab Ragoons.

Everything was absolutely delicious, except for the Happy Family which I've had better, and either the beef, the pork, or the scallops in it, tasted a bit off. However, the Crab Ragoons were fresh, crunchy and so good, and wasn't just cream cheese, with crab in the name, and the sweet and sour sauce that came with it, had a nice orange citrusy flavor to it. The General Tso's chicken was sweet, spicy and a bit crunchy and maybe not the best I've had, but damn near. The Lo Mein was pretty good, again not the best I've had, but it did have a nice smoky flavor, and paired well with the General Tso's.

Finally they included a free order of Chicken Teriyaki, which I had to fight myself to not order as the bill was already a bit more than I wanted to pay, but was deeply appreciative at the complimentary, and delicious addition to our meal. Would recommend and order...

If you’re looking for delicious Chinese food at great prices, China King never disappoints! The portions are generous, the food is always fresh and hot, and the menu has something for everyone — from lo mein and fried rice to crab rangoon and sweet & sour chicken 😋.

It’s also very kid-friendly — my son loves their chicken wings and fried rice combo! The staff is friendly and fast, making pickup or dine-in super easy after a long day.

Perfect for holiday gatherings, family nights, or last-minute dinner ideas, China King gives you restaurant-quality meals without the high price tag. Highly recommend if you want fresh, flavorful Chinese food in your neighborhood!
