Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I placed an order tonight and it said it was delivered when it was not. I waited 15 minutes then called the store. A nice lady answered the phone (I can't recall her name sadly) and she was just the sweetest. I worked for a pizza place and I understand how it can get some days and that was before a pandemic! She asked me to give it 10 more minutes for the doordash driver to deliver it then call back. 10 minutes pass and no pizza. I call again and she answered. She refunded me my order and is sending a new one out for me. Just by her explaining whats going on with short staff and only 1 driver that works a long week, I completely understand. Only giving 3 stars since doordash messed up, but the nice lady I talked to tonight had great customer service and deserves some recognition for her hard work! I've had bad experiences with this store before, but I have some hope still! Edit: I placed my original order at 8:05. Called at 10:30 to check up on my order and they said 10 more minutes. Well ita now 11:30 and my order still is not here. Now I'm quite frustrated and will not be ordering from this location again. I shouldn't have to call 4 times to check up on my order. I only put one star in order to submit a review. I really try n support any business with actual employees that are working. This is the second experience with this location in which I never received my order. The first time, a few months ago, my $50+ order for my whole family's dinner never came. When I finally called the store to see why ot was taking so long, it was closed. No order ever arrived. Thus evening, I ordered at 7:30pm. Taking into consideration a Friday night and being the rush, they said 45 - 60 min delivery time. I waited until 9:00 pm to call (90 minutes later) and I was told my order has been marked as "delivered" bit it was setting in front of the lady on the phone. She then asks if I can come get it, and if not, it'd be another 30 minutes. Really? After being charged delivery charges, and a house full of hungry kids. I don't think I want $52 +tip COLD pizzas and bread sticks. Maybe we'll try again in the far future, but for now, 0...

Location - 8955 East 38th Street 46226.... Ordered a pizza from this location and was quoted 48.00 for a works and 16 wings. We called another location and was quoted a different price. Called back we was given a discount the whole order was 26.00 plus change. When we got the pizza the pizza was cold and had mushrooms on it and we asked do not put mushrooms on the pizza. We ordered from this location about 1 month ago and was charged 50.00, we called and asked for the manager he said that he would refund money back on the card he never did. During this time we ordered a small cheese pizza received the wrong pizza they said that we would get a free one on our next order... guess what nope we did not get the free pizza. Their prices change and the food was cold. Very poor customer service! I wish I could...
