PLEASE READ UNTIL THE VERY END Customer service today is in dire need of good old fashioned friendliness. I am very disappointed by the way I was treated yesterday at taco bell, 38th&Post rd. The side of town shouldn't coinside or represent the way you are treated. I grew up on the east side of Indy and there are respectable, kind people there, despite the riff raff. I strive to never complain unless it is just unacceptable. Today is just the day, because I have never posted any review online and rarely request management to get involved with a complaint. The lack of respect has continually become monotonous in my experiences in all customer service recently. The lady taking the order sounded annoyed and unfriendly. I had my niece with me and was trying to figure out what she wanted. I believe the lady that took the order, was the one that gave me the food. I felt like she wanted to toss it in my car. She appeared to go out of her way to deliver food to me personally, so she could express her frustration using her body language and unfriendly facial expressions. There was a another lady standing at the window, which didn't say a word. ...no thank you or greeting.. She could of acknowledged me or thrown a little service recovery, or a simple thank you or hello would have helped tremendously. I had reason to believe the lady that took the order was the same lady that abruptly delivered the food. She aquardly had to reach around the silent lady at the window, to what seemed purposely done, to make it a point she was annoyed with me. I respect that fast food restaurants have time restrictions, but it shouldn't hinder the customer service. I normally ask for a name if I'm bothered enough to maybe pass on feedback to improve customer service. Honestly I was taken back so much, i didn't say anything but thank you. So in turn, the only way to identify these two employees are by race. I am by no means racist, and actually have been a victim on numerous accounts of racism personally. We are all God's children. And I quote a Michael Jackson song, "I'm not going to spend my life seeing a color." So the lady at the window when I drove up appeared to be mostly caucasian, and the lady that I believe took the order and gave me the sack of food appeared to be mostly African American. With that said, I choose taco bell over McDonald's any day. McDonald's is the slowest fast food restaurant there is and service is consistently awful and incorrect. So kudos to Taco Bell for outdoing McDonald's and other restaurants also. I've worked in restaurants 8 years, during high school and college, where i acquired very beneficial people skills. I worked in an emergency room for 15 years, and dealt with unhappy people frequently. Its hard to save lives with critical patients when most patients expect first come, first serve, I've dealt with many different people with very different cultures and beliefs. And am proud that I can put a smile on face a majority of the time, even the most angriest. I take pride in how I treat others and I encourage everyone to consider to do the same, to create a world that's happier. A prime example is "the ripple effect" Something that restaurant employees experience from time to time. It's when a person decides to pay for the stranger behind them in a restaurant drive thru line. The impact from this small kind act can have on people, can be indescribable. A person could be dealing with the worst things in life; death, divorce, suicidal thoughts, ect. This could change a person's outlook on life, inspire people, or it might just give someone a smile and/or warm and fuzzy feeling. Regardless, these people will be more likely to treat people along their paths that day better, and those people kinder to more people, and so on..I pray for the world to heal every day now, especially since this unfortunate virus pandemic. We need to come together to help and support each other. Kindness can go a long way. We need this more than ever, to create a happier environment for everyone.đWatch Matthew McConaughey...
Read moreThis is the WORST Taco Bell, in the Indianapolis area. Customer service is the furthest thing from the minds of the employees, as they throw your food at you through the drive-thru, without a single word spoken... with a direct chip on their shoulder, (as if you are inconveniencing them, by showing up to buy their product, and thus causing them to put their cellphone down, and makeing them to something, while working). I've been through this Taco Bell, about 10 times, in the last 9 months... (because it's the only one in the area). It gets WORSE, every time I come through. Today, as I came through the drive-thru, I specifically asked to have two hard shell taco's exchanged from the norm, to two soft tacos. They failed to do so, so I pulled back up to the drive-thru, to have the problem fixed. I'm asked to pull up to the window, which I did. The young man working the window, opens it and just stares at me, until I explained the situation once again. (Not a word uttered from him). He closes the window, and proceeds to start complaining to his co-workers about how a "white man" is "bitching about his order" again. All the while, throwing his hands up and down and yelling, like a 3-yr old, having a temper-tantrum in a very aggressive manner, trying to make sure that I saw him. Upon the corrected soft taco's being ready, he tells a female employee to give them to me, as if I had offended him in some way, and he just couldn't bring himself to pass the corrected items out the window to me.
I understand that it may be hard to find good help these days, and the area might have something to do with the problem, but this is a bit extreme, in what a manager is willing to accept with from their...
Read moreI'm always going around to different Taco bells. It's always iffy trying to go to Taco bell. At least with McDonald's and Burger King and Wendy's etc, when you order something, it gets certain things on it, but you're always going to get a full bun and however many patties of meat that it calls for. If you order a double, you get two pieces. The problem with Taco Bell is that all of the different meats are tiny little pieces. Chicken steak beef. It's all loose. Which means that they have to scoop a certain amount out. This is why Taco Bell sucks for the most part. Because they have to measure out amounts, nothing is ever consistent. You'll probably never find that you get anything overfilled due to many owners making the managers order the underlings around to skimp on the meats even though just getting a few items is $20 nowadays.
With that being said, you will be very much disappointed at this location. When I ordered the item that I wanted, I ordered it with no three cheese blend and extra chicken. The only other thing that comes on this, is Chipotle sauce. There was about a single serving of chicken which means that even though I doubled the price of these by adding extra chicken, I just got completely ripped off. There was mounds and mounds of that plastic nasty cheese all over. Barely any Chipotle sauce. So, the obviously didn't give a single f over reading what the screen said after I made my mobile order. There are many taco bells. I suggest you stay away from this one. I'll try to find out who the owner of this specific restaurant is so that I can put their name down here and we can all start staying away from any of the restaurants that they own because they're all going to...
