Circle City Sweets — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I was very disappointed at how the associate handled my request. I called in literally 20 minutes before arriving, to place an order for a King Cake, at which he told me that the King Cakes weren’t made readily available until later in the season. When I asked how long it would take to be ready if I ordered it, he told me tomorrow. However, once I got there he said the earliest I could get it would be Monday. I told him I was confused because I’d just called and was told that it could be ready tomorrow. He said when I called “earlier”, he said that, but at this moment he couldn’t do it.... Needless to say I am irritated that he was flustered and seemed a little bothered by my inquiry, not to mention that I JUST called 20 minutes ago when I was at Meridian & Georgia St. Most of my time getting there was spent trying to find parking. Called them same day for a surprise delivery and they were incredibly awesome about everything! As someone who has worked in the same industry, I always get excited about great service- nevermind the product.

I don’t live downtown but my fiancé works in Fountain Square. They were doing a tattoo event wherein some of the profits went towards veterans so I wanted to surprise them with a little boost through their busy day. Circle City Sweets not only accomated me on short notice, but all the guys raved about everything they received! Although its location in the Artisan Marketplace (AMP building) appears unassuming, Circle City Sweets boasts some truly exquisite pastry offerings.
