Look, I’ve used many different lawn care companies over the years. They are all the same…they use harsh chemicals that make your lawn look good, but your lawn requires the continued use of the chemicals to continue to look good. Too many times a newbie would burn the yard by not properly applying the chemicals.

TLC is FANTASTIC! They are as organic as possible and believe me, it makes a huge difference. You may pay a bit more for their service, but please believe me, it is so worth it. We used them for several years at our old house and we had the best years in the neighborhood…by far! Our new home (existing home) had an awful yard, full of dandelions…I mean full of dandelions, as well as crab grass. Literally within one year, the improvement of our yard was night and day different. Now, two summers in, we have one of the best yards in our new neighborhood…lush, lush, lush lawn!

I’ve been a regular customer with TLC, Total Lawn Care for 10 yr. They have always been great at explaining their programs and suggestions. Then fair priced and diligent in the work performed. The results have been great year over year. Two additional benefits I get from working with them for my lawn fertilizing and weed control, etc. are their seasonal lawn tips and the fact they use a circumspect approach that optimizes, rather than maximizes the types and amounts of chemicals used for fertilization, weed and insect control programs for each lawn. The lawn tips bring what they do into a synergistic picture of what others do for the total health of the lawn, etc. It’s good to know how to do other aspects of maintenance so they work with, not against what TLC is doing. Further the tips isn’t not just a tool to push more products/services at me, but really about how to get the best lawns with healthy root systems that build up healthy soils, to propagate the cycles.

We are so happy to have found TLC to help us get our lawn growing. We live in a new build community, and we have people ask all the time how we got our lawn to grow in so beautifully, and we always point them to TLC. They are really knowledgeable, and responsive to any questions we have. I thought we would never be able to get our lawn to grow here without some kind of major intervention (adding massive amounts of topsoil or something ) but John came out to give us an estimate and was able to point to treatments they have that can help the health of the soil, which makes the lawn healthier. It’s a couple of years later, and our healthy lawn looks like we’ve lived here for years and years. I love too that it is a more organic approach to lawn care.
