If I could give this no stars I would, but Google reviews don't have that option. This used to be one of the better donatos in the city. Not sure if management changed or what but I've gone from being a frequent customer to "I'd rather eat anything other than Donatos". Terrible customer service, their information is always outdated on the website for their location, the employees don't know how to use the cash register correctly, and drop the ball every time on things like ranch cups or additional items requested. I placed a carry out order today via their website only to be told by phone after I left my house to go pick it up that they don't do carry out after 11pm. I've picked up pizzas there before at 11:30pm and beyond. I asked if I could switch the order to delivery and the reply was "You can, but it will take at least 1.5 hours". As a business owner if you're understaffed on drivers and you have a customer willing to drive to your establishment to pay for your product, why wouldn't you want to make that sale? Last week the website let me use coupon codes that resulted in a $5 discount off my order. I got to the store to pick it up and they said they couldn't accept my coupons unless I proved to them the website applied them correctly. I took a screenshot and showed it to their supervisor. I was never refunded even after proving this. Don't waste your time ordering from here unless you want a horrible customer experience. Fresh Thyme does amazing carry out pizza that's way cheaper and healthier. That would be my recommendation if you live in the area of this donatos or choose one of their other competitors. I love donatos pizza, just won't be ordering from this location EVER again. Note to Corporate: Hire a new owner who's focused on customer experience (hopefully he/she will hire employees that are likewise), train your employees to sell your product instead of deterring people from ordering from your business, keep your website updated with carry out hours and delivery hours and actually honor them. If this is a franchise-partner location you may want to rethink your strategy for qualifying franchise owners. If this is a company owned location then you have no excuse for this quality of service granted the success you've had for decades of experience in...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreBy far the worst Donatos (or restaurant) I've ever been to. Doesnt deserve even 1 star. They've screwed up every order I've placed. Donatos in general has excellent food, and I'm not complaining about the food here at all... the problem is that the employees here have the collective intelligence of a six year old. Im including management in this statement as well.. I've placed orders by phone, online, and even in-person, and EVERY SINGLE TIME its completely wrong. I mean, if its online, its coming up in words... its not a communication error. They'll mess up the toppings (i ordered a simple pepperoni pizza!) They'll forget your breadsticks, forget the cheese sauce you PAID FOR, or-- just lose/forget to make the whole order.. I ordered breadsticks tonight, and they waited 20 minutes to even put them in. Its not even busy in there! seriously... The cheese has VERY obviously been scraped from the bottom of the warmer, its got burnt "skin" in it. Its watered down & leaking from container into the bag. A VERY simple order of some damn BREADSTICKS that got messed up at every turn. This is ONE incidence. Usually they lose the order completely. Mgmt here is rude, everyone's more than clueless, standing around chatting. I'm done w/ donatos in general over all this. I'm sure nothing will be done, but I did my part bringing it up.
A '2.1' google rating for this location should be telling enough. It makes the company as a whole look bad. If this is a franchise, the owners need to be stripped of franchise rights, If its corporate, then shame on you donatos. Well-- shame on you anyway for letting this go on. The reviews on google go back over a year, as do mine & my friends' experiences.
I've worked at many restaurants in the past, and I am possibly the most laid back customer you will find, but enough is ENOUGH. There are plenty of pizza places in this area, and one directly across the street that is AMAZING. Try that place-- its...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis restaurant will not refund me my money! I have been trying for almost a week to get the GM to reach out to me! I placed an order on their website directly for delivery and paid online. I received a link stating that my order would be delivered by DoorDash. The DoorDash driver, drove around my neighborhood for 45 minutes. I placed calls to the driver and texted multiple times, no response. I immediately called the store and asked if I could come pick up another order, because at this point the pizzas are cold driving around for 45 minutes with a driver who does not answer phone calls or texts! They advised me I would have to pay for another order and contact DoorDash in regards for a refund. I get on the phone with DoorDash and they are telling me Donatos has to refund me my money because I paid them directly. While on the phone with DoorDash, I placed another order online for pick up. I keep DoorDash on the phone while I am at the store. They are both saying they cannot refund me my money. I have now placed two orders and one was not delivered by DoorDash and the one I pick up is burned! It has now been almost a week and I still cannot get anyone to assist me. I have made multiple calls to Donatos customer service. They say this location is a franchise and because of that they cannot help me directly. I am at the mercy of the GM, I believe her name is Rachel. All they do is send her an email and she never calls me or reaches out. I have lived in this neighborhood since I was a child. I will never go back to this Donatos. This is how you treat your paying and dedicated customers! I'm not sorry for wanting my money back when we are paying...
