Back again for take out 9/29 This place is by far, my favorite Chinese restaurant. I stopped by for a takeout today, got number 27, mixed vegetables and two eggrolls. The food is delicious as always, I just love this place. This restaurant is family owned and operated by a very very nice family. It’s always a pleasure stopping here. They have a few tables with one TV to watch CNN only, if you’d like to eat in. But I usually take home. I can recommend everything above plus general Tso’s , chicken, and the fried biscuits. I really haven’t had too many other things on the menu because I know what I like. But based upon my experience here, I cannot imagine you getting food you would not enjoy. Our new go-to Chinese restaurant! Walked in, and the whole place smelled fresh and delicious. Ordered rangoon, dumplings, general Tso chicken, sesame chicken, and egg rolls. Everything was perfect! General Tso chicken was not overly sauced or sugary, had good flavor, and the chicken was tender. Rangoon had some crab flavor-- not just cream cheese, but not so much that the crab is overpowering. Rangoon dipping sauce was just sweet and sour sauce-- still good. Dumplings were easily the best I've had in town. Dumpling dipping sauce has excellent flavor. Golden Chef is a fantastic Chinese restaurant! Their food is consistently delicious, and their restaurant is very clean and attractive. My husband and I had a party of 12 friends over on a Sunday afternoon and called the Golden Chef for carry out. Within 20 minutes they had two huge pans of entrees (with no MSG), a pan of rice, and a pan of egg rolls ready for pickup!
