Love Old Chicago and have been OC rewards member for more than 20 years. Was excited to see we finally got this restaurant in Indy. I have driven out of state to keep up on WBT. Have been to this location a handful of times and honestly, was not pleased at all. Not only is the website incorrect about times they are open, they don't have hardly any of the beer selections listed on the menu. Not even for the current tours, for football or Halloween. Makes it difficult to try and experience new beer if they only stock what every other restaurant in town offers and 90% is the usual domestics. Last experience was horrific. Under staffed is being polite. Only 2 people for the entire restaurant at peak dining time of 5pm. And oh the excuses... storm nocked out TV selection, beer on tap was warm because of power outage, nothing listed on website for beer selection was available. Waitress forgot to put in half of our order and we had to wait longer than usual to get another beer. Was almost to the point to order 2 at a time so our glass wouldn't run dry. It was just one thing after another. Upon finally receiving our tab, I had earned $5 OC bucks and the WBT glass set for hitting the 70 point mark on current tour. When I asked for the glass set, I nearly had to argue with waitress and then pull up the reward and point system online and explain to her how it works. Good thing I had my previous readout with me because she just didn't understand how I had 68 points, ordered 5 beers ( 2 which I had previously not had on the tour) and had earned another 2 points to get to the 70 points to get the free OC rewards gift. Sure didn't look good to the couple sitting with us who I had prompted to join us and sign up for the rewards and WBT as well. At least try to give option of putting a beer towards the tour if what is needed to complete it is not available. Drinking the same thing over and over defeats the purpose of trying to complete the tour. Would be nice if they would at least try to work with the customer instead of arguing with them. The excuses get old. If there were so many issues from a storm, maybe during the 3 hours they were closed from 2-5pm, they should have been working on getting things fixed before reopening for the night. If not, then don't open. Not too many I know are going to walk in and order warm draught beer! And if you don't have what is listed on the menu, beer or food, then don't put it on website! Even the specials, for Happy hour were not honored! Seems like all we heard was we don't have... or we don't offer that. Very misleading. Maybe its time to hire someone to keep the website up to date or better yet, order more beer! Most people don't make plans to eat somewhere with a backup...
Read moreFrom the moment we sat down, Gillian made our dining experience unforgettable. She greeted us with a warm smile, genuine energy, and the kind of hospitality that instantly sets the tone for a great evening. Her professionalism was matched by her friendliness—she has that rare ability to make every guest feel valued and cared for. Right away, it was clear she takes pride in her work and goes above and beyond to ensure everyone has a positive experience. Throughout the meal, Gillian demonstrated an incredible balance of attentiveness and efficiency. She was quick to notice when our drinks needed refilling or when we had questions about the menu, yet never intrusive. Her timing was flawless—our food arrived hot, our needs were anticipated, and everything flowed seamlessly. It’s rare to encounter a server who makes their job look effortless, but Gillian does exactly that. What stood out most was her knowledge and enthusiasm. Gillian walked us through menu options with confidence and sincerity, offering helpful recommendations that turned out to be spot-on. She clearly knows the menu inside and out, but even more importantly, she knows how to listen and guide guests toward what will make their experience special. She elevated the meal beyond just food and service—she made it feel personal. Her kindness and energy created an atmosphere where we felt like more than just customers. Little details—checking in with genuine care, remembering small preferences, and even sharing a quick laugh—made us feel like we were among friends. It’s this personal touch, combined with her skill and professionalism, that sets Gillian apart. She doesn’t just serve tables; she creates memorable moments. In my opinion, Gillian is the definition of outstanding service. She deserves recognition, if not an award, for the way she consistently goes above and beyond. Great restaurants are remembered not only for their food but for the people who make every visit exceptional. Gillian is one of those people, and I would happily return again and again because of the experience she provides. She is truly a gem and an incredible...

The one server was bartending when we arrived and appeared and acted quite high. The food had the potential to be okay, had it been what the menu said... the club sandwich was not a club, but rather just a turkey sammy it had no choice of bread, white only and was "toasted" into brick status and barely able to be bitten through. The turkey was very clearly placed on the brick exactly the way that it was taken out of the package. The lettuce was a very small single dry piece of leaf that barely was even noticeably there, but for it wasnt even on the sandwich. The sun dried tomatoes were not dried at all. The "avocado slices" were 2 teeny slivers not nearing even 1 slice, and the fries had zero salt ... edible, not worth $18. The service staff was entirely unengaged. There was absolutely NO WAY to get the bartender to notice you or hear you until she was specifically coming to you... still just didn't hear you. 45 dollars for a "sandwich" and 2 beers. The large screen for the game was nice but mostly blocked by the taps at the only place we were able to sit in, even though the restaurant was empty except the bar. There are many different local taps,...
