I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. From the moment I arrived, the experience was unprofessional, unsanitary, and far below acceptable hospitality standards. Shuttle Service Misrepresentation: At the time of booking and payment, it was clearly stated that a shuttle service runs every 45 minutes. Upon arrival, your front desk staff not only denied this service but also informed me that such a schedule was never in place. This misrepresentation caused a serious disruption to my plans, as I had to be at a worksite within 45 minutes of landing. Room Condition and Cleanliness: When I finally gained access to my fully paid-for room, it was evident that it had not been cleaned since its last use: • The smoke detector was removed and placed on a table with no battery. • Mold was present in the kitchenette sink. • Old, spoiled food was still in the microwave. • The refrigerator appeared never to have been cleaned. • The shower was visibly moldy and unhygienic. • Bed sheets had noticeable stains. • The carpets throughout the hotel and lobby were filthy and emitted a strong odor. • The so-called “breakfast” was served in a foul-smelling lobby, with no regard for cleanliness or presentation. Lack of Service: No room service was provided, and no staff followed up despite clear expectations for basic hospitality. The entire environment and staff behavior resembled that of an unregulated, family-run operation with no professional management in place. I have attached photographic evidence of the conditions mentioned above. This experience was not only unacceptable but also unsafe and unhygienic. I will be escalating this matter to upper management, relevant review platforms, and—if necessary—appropriate consumer protection channels. Also paid for parking ahead of time and Received threats of towing my vehicle just over bad experience I am requesting a full refund due to the false advertising and severe health and safety concerns present at your establishment. I expect a prompt response and resolution to this matter.

I called & made a reservation to stay here at La Quinta over the phone. While on the phone, I got disconnected the first time, so I had to call back & start over my reservation. While on the phone, I made sure to let them know that we had a dog- which is a $20 fee that I accepted. . Once we arrived, I got charged for a room (without the dog fee). After my card was slid & I was checked in, I noticed that I was not charged enough. I was told that I will be charged for my pet fee during check-out. Not a huge deal, just wish they would've had that corrected before hand. . We got to our room & started getting comfortable. My son went to use the bathroom & the toilet was clogged & wouldn't flush. The attendant up front moved us to another room, so that they could fix the toilet. . Once in our second room, my husband went to use the bathroom & it was filled with poop-- like it had been sitting in that room for a while (picture included in this review). The bed spread/sheet also had what looked like a pee stain on it. I understand that bedding can have stains, but what are the odds that the comforter & sheet got put on a bed together & folder over in the exact same spot? (Picture included in this review). . All of this mess really made us feel gross-- like the rooms weren't cleaned. . We let the attendant at the front desk know. She was super nice & offered to put us in another suite. We declined & ended up just leaving.. . The manager & assistant manager weren't very apologetic. They seemed as though it wasnt a serious issue... it's gross- period! . After driving for 7 hours with three young children & a dog, I want to relax. I dont want to have to worry about the cleanliness of a room. . I've never had issues with other La Quinta locations. This one just wasnt good. . *We were told that our card will be refunded within 3-5 days. I asked for a receipt or some kind of paperwork for my travel files & the manager told me to hop on their computer & print it off myself. The attendant was nice enough to try & print it for me*

Not to mention there were 5 other people with complaints on rooms and when asked for clean linens the clerk said they didn’t have any more that were clean. It’s the nastiest place I have ever seen. Out side has trash everywhere and several places with open electrical wires for a child to grab, or start a fire. When we checked in we told the lady at the counter the rooms were gross and she said she would have house keeping go clean them. We left for dinner for 2 hours and come back to nothing. We will never stay in another Laquinta or anything by Wyndham ever again. We had no choice but to stay the one night, we were booked for 3. We were refused the ability to talk to the manager, and we were refused a refund. As late as it was and so tired from traveling from Texas we should have been refunded the WHOLE amount, but we were not granted anything to go to a new hotel. No deposit refund and no refund for the nights were are not staying. So we are out even more money going to another hotel. We called corporate and only got a “we will open an investigation “ so all in all they got our money and we got nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE.. it’s not worth it.

I figured I would give a more detailed update to my review now that I've had the chance to stay elsewhere in INDY.

I stayed here between thanksgiving and Christmas of 2023. easily the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. within 6 hours of check in all the following happened. The heating unit in the hallway caused the entire wing of that floor smell like burning rodent. heated stayed here between thanksgiving and Christmas of 2023. easily the worst hotel stay I’ve ever had. within 6 hours of check in all the following happened. Heating in the unit wouldn’t produce heat at all. makeup, piss, blood, vomit and cum stains all over the sheets. they obviously just throw the used sheets back on the bed like nobody was there. The bathroom was similarly filthy, had loose tiling, honestly, it’s a health risk to stay here.

No management was available for contact. tried to get a refund and go to another hotel they wouldn’t refund the 150$ which had been 120 when it was booked but they charged us for a room upgrade we didn’t ask for and then a 100$ security deposit at check in. I did see the 100$ security deposit come back into my account a few days after this incident, though I’ve had hotels not return that deposit when there was no reason for them to keep it, and still had better experience with their skeevy business practices than I did with the absolutely inept staff at this dump.

To top it all off about 3 hours after being there I went less than a mile away to fill up my gas, I had left via the lobby while the clerk was at the desk. The clerk did not know my girlfriend had arrived yet as she had used the entrance closer to our room when she got into town an hour after I did. I was on the 2-minute drive back when my girlfriend called saying she had just had multiple guys try to enter the room while she had been changing. They had given out the key to our room. I am certain I would have been cleaned out if my girlfriend hadn’t been in the room. I ran into the 3 guys as they came down the stairwell and when i mentioned the incident they broke into a dead sprint to get to their car they did not return to actually get a room at this hotel and our room had been for a single bed... so unless the 3 really tall males were there for a very cramped 3 way I doubt that this incident resulted out of an accident. If anyone sees a beat-up red pickup truck in the parking lot just know not to leave any belongings in your room.

continental breakfast.... was absolutely minimal, no hot food. not sure if I would eat it if there was though, checked the bagels and muffins that were out, they had gone entirely stale sitting in the breadbox. We ended up going to the waffle house down the street.

this place is a risk to your health and safety, WILL give out your room keys to other people not staying in the hotel or working for the hotel as soon as they think you are gone, has no management to contact, and will change our booking and charge you for it.... just… do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else. If I could rate this place lower than 1 star I would.

Best Western on the north side of INDY is only 10-15$ more a night, is about 10 minutes from downtown and 20 from the airport, has a fantastic breakfast clean rooms and wonderful staff. I stayed there a couple weeks ago with my girlfriend and had a much better experience. The staff is friendly, won’t upcharge you if they need to change your booking and goes out of their way to make sure you enjoy your stay if it is within...

I have stayed in a lot of LaQuinta hotels for both personal and work purposes. My husband and I live in Kansas and often drive back to Montana or Pennsylvania to see family. Halfway through the trip we usually stay at a LaQuinta. After this experience we will never be doing so again.

I booked online at around 12am on 12/02. The instant hold option was selected but it did not have me put any card information into the site, rather stating I would pay at the hotel. Okay cool no problem! I didn’t receive any kind of email which was odd, but my email occasionally acts up so I didn’t think much of it. Due to weather issues, we were delayed in our trip back from Pennsylvania. At 5:30pm I received a text message saying to call the hotel within 30 minutes to “reserve my room”. I called back at 5:32 and spoke with a staff member. I let her know for some reason I was never sent a confirmation email but she was able to look up my reservation with my name. I let her know of our delay and that we would not get there until 2-3am at this point. She put me on hold and said that the night shift staff member will be aware of our arrival. At no point did she ask for card information.

We arrived at the hotel around 3:30am and stood at the front desk while the night staff member was sitting in her chair on her phone. After several minutes she finally got up to check us in. I explained I called at 5:30pm and was told the reservation was under my name. She claimed no one told her about this and seemed very confused. When she finally looked up the reservation (it was around 3:45 by this point) she said it had been “canceled”. This was after telling me I must have booked at a different hotel despite me showing her the phone number matching THAT location. She then said we could go to a different hotel or pay the walk in fee. It was almost 4am, we had been on the road for over 10 hours at this point and had another 8 to go the next day. We ended up paying over $100 MORE than what was stated online. If it had been earlier in the night I would have just gone to a different hotel but unfortunately did not have...

Wyndham is a NIGHTMARE... I went to the La Quinta Inn site to book a hotel. Thinking I was talking to the actual hotel reservations (they answered Reservation Desk) I proceeded to book a room since my plane was delayed scheduled to arrive at 1:00 AM. When I called I told them I wanted to book a hotel for la Quinta Inn in Plainfield. I also said I needed airport transport and it would be around 1:30 AM. After insisting she needed to make reservation then she gave me direct line... It took almost ½ hour to get through (busy signal). When I finally got hold of this hotel I was told airport shuttle service ends at 11:00 PM. I could not change reservations... I went to the Plainfield hotel only to find out it she reserved the wrong hotel. I finally arrived at this location at 4:00 AM (by the time I figured out where she booked me). When I went to check in I was told I needed a $100 deposit. I was not told anything about this when I made my reservation and the room was already paid for. I did not have the money. Fortunately the person with me did. Apparently this is for people smoking in rooms and damage to rooms which they should have told me On the phone that that would been required. They also told me that breakfast was from 6:00 to 9, :00 and here it was 4:00 a.m. That I was checking in. He said he would have him hold breakfast until 10:00. When I got down there at 9:45 there was no breakfast. When I arrived in my room it looked clean but also smelt like someone poured a whole bottle of fabuloso in the room. The smell is so strong that I had to turn on the air just to be able to breathe. When I asked for my receipt they said they could not give me one for the hotel stay. When I called Wyndham about my issues they said they could do nothing because it was through a third party. I will never stay at any Windham hotel ever again. Customer service is terrible. The managers were very rude and so were the counterworkers with the exception of the one. When I checked in.
