Just Wing'n it — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Myself and 2 others came in around 7 on a Saturday night (August 26th). It was not very busy. We stood at the front for over 10 minutes and finally asked someone, and they told us to seat ourselves. We sat at a small table near the bar area. It took over 10 minutes for the bar tender to acknowledge us though I turned around a few times and made eye contact with her and she was literally just hanging out and talking to some people (friends?). Finally she came and she apologized and said she didn't see us...we ordered drinks and an appetizer. It took about 10mn for thr drinks and then we ordered food. She asked my boyfriend if he was sure he wanted wings because he already ordered chicken nachos? But that was an appetizer for the table he ordered awhile back.....After 30 mn the appetizer still hadn't come out. We saw her taking shots with a man a few times. She came to our table and asked again what sauce we wanted on our wings (keep in mind this is now over 40mn after we ordered the appetizer that still hadnt come out and and hour since we walked in the door). She said the sauce didn't print in the kitchen. So we got it figured out and the appetizer came out (~50mn after it was ordered) and she brought one person's wings too. We asked for sour cream and it never came. Another 15mn passed and the second meal came out then 10mn after that the final meal came out. The food was ok but dripping in grease like they didn't strain it from the fryer. We ate and the bar tender never came back because the bar area picked up. I had to go to the bar and ask for the check and witness the bar tender yelling at 2 Spanish speaking guys because she thought they whistled at her. I can only assume she had been ignoring them because they didn't have anything in front of them and I had seen them walk in awhile back. I had to go the To go area to get a box, waited for over 5mn for someone to come. The cook was sitting at the door as we walking out. He seemed tired and told us thank you and have a good night. It made me sad because it seemed like maybe he had some pride in the place but seemed defeated. Needless to say we won't be back.

We used to come to this location a few years ago and it was brighter, cleaner, and just all around better. It seems like now they just care about their Doordash food and their regulars. Now the only word that comes to...

Came in about 7pm on Friday wanting to sit outside and have a few drinks, maybe a bite to eat never got served. No hello as i walked through the door. Sat on the patio for about 45 minutes, then came in and sat on the inside..nothing. Never got asked if I needed anything, if I was waiting on anyone, not even a cup of water was offered. I even made eye contact with a few employees, still nothing. Saw a sign on the gate that says they love their loyal customers....i guess thats true because it seemed that the people that were there were people that knew staff. i left after a hour of listening to the music. The music was cool that was about it...got asked if I needed anything while waiting on my Uber to go home...that was 8:06 pm...

Note to management- the watresses need to attend to all of the people on the premises, not just the ppl they know. Your employees def dropped the ball.... anyone sitting without a menu, not eating or drinking should be approached by somone.

Guess, Ill never know about the food or drinks...

After time and time again coming in and making excuses as to why we come in at all, we finally had our make or break. service is either quick and rude, or slow and friendly. 0 in between. Each time we told ourselves that the food was incredible, and worth the wait and everything that we've put up with. Tonight, 15 minutes before anyone checked on us. Okay, fine, it's busy, it's R and B Night, whatever. 10 minutes for a beer, but less than a minute for anything else. okay. drinks down, another 10 goes by, finally we can order. Place order, 30 minutes go by no check ins, no food. another 10, finally, FOOD! except the event of the evening was... barely warm... sides, one hot, one cold like it's been sitting for 20 minutes. Just a disappointment all around and finally our breaking point after two years off visiting....
