I decided to give this LJS another shot with it being close to my 2nd job. So far they haven't failed to DISAPPOINT...at least this time the food was fresh...when I finally got it. I give my oder at speaker..even had the lady read it back to me. I get to the window to confirm that she had my order correct. I pay for my order. 10min later I'm still sitting at the window. Finally the young lady comes to the window and informs me that they are waiting on fish. I've worked at a LJS before and I know it doesn't take over 10min to cook. I tell the lady ok...just to wait 5 more min at the window..all gor her to come back to the window and asks could I pull around to the front door in a waiting spot. So now it's been 15min. Since this is the only meal that I will have for my 12hr shift..I wait. Another 5min..another lady walks up to car with my order. I get to work just to find that my order was not correct. PURE DISAPPOINTMENT. I try to call store..no answer...I check receipt to make sure oder was rang up correctly and it was. I was suppose to have double fries instead of Cole slaw...which btw I am allergic to. Considering my job..I was not able to leave until the end of my shift the next morning at 8. Needless to say...I starved my entire 12hr shift because I was afraid to eat food since coleslaw was thrown on top of the food in a container. Money and time wasted. I will NEVER return. I would have rather gotten cold food and the order been correct verses getting hot food and not be correct with the potential to put me in hospital. Thanks...
Read moreLong John Silver’s has been a go-to spot for my family when we want affordable seafood in a casual, welcoming setting. The restaurant makes it easy for families to enjoy a sit-down meal without spending too much, and the menu has plenty of options that work for both adults and kids. The service was friendly, the food came out hot, and everything was fresh and satisfying.
For adults, the Fish and Shrimp Platter is the perfect choice. The fish was golden and crispy on the outside while flaky and tender inside. The shrimp was flavorful and perfectly fried, and the hush puppies added a nice balance to the meal. Pairing it with fries and coleslaw makes for a hearty and filling dinner.
For kids, the Popcorn Shrimp Meal is always a winner. The portion size is just right for younger diners, and the shrimp are fun to eat and easy to dip in sauce. The sides are kid-approved, and it makes the whole meal feel like a treat without being overwhelming.
What makes Long John Silver’s family-friendly is the combination of affordable combo meals, casual dining, and a menu designed to please everyone. It is a great option when you want seafood that is quick, tasty, and budget-friendly. With shareable platters and kids’ meals that actually appeal to children, it’s an easy choice for family dinners.

Read moreI hadn't had their food in a while so I decided to stop in. Day one they told me that they couldn't take orders. The question to myself was if you can't take orders, why are you even open rhetorical? I think not. Day too four cars in line in front of me. I decide to go inside. There are only two ladies in front of me so this should not take long. Okay. Was I wrong? And assuming this not only was I wrong in assuming this no one ever bothered to step to the front counter and acknowledge that there were people standing up there waiting for assistant. So after 90 seconds of waiting on shear acknowledgment which didn't even mean that someone had to come to the counter. That just simply meant that somebody had to look up and say hello. Someone will be with you shortly but since no one could do that I left . Here's the thing about customer service. You don't have to be speedy and it does not have to be perfect but it does have to happen. How dare you think that you cannot service anyone and they still spend their money with your establishment. You have to be some type of pompous establishment to think that you are the only thing going and people can't go anywhere and they still have to patronize your business. What type of culture do you have that everyone thinks this is okay? I'm not sure about anyone else but, you most definitely don't have to worry about me stepping foot...
