Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Indianapolis

The team gathered and a member said let's try Papa Johns pizza. Our reviews have been on the upper tier pizza opportunities in the Indy area . But we ordered a couple of pizzas and the bread sticks. This food was not as good as many frozen pizzas we have tried (but not reviewed). The crusts were relatively thin and texture-wise "flat". The cheese pizza half of that and other half black olives bubbled up. The pepperoni pizza was similar without the bubbling effect. Breadsticks were soft and drenched in I believe butter and garlic . We had not had Papa John's in probably 3+ years. We recalled that they were thicker crusts then , heavy with cheese and generally much different that these pizzas. I have a feeling that since the demise of the founder and market share loss that Papa Johns has cut corners, big corners, to boost profit margins and appease shareholders. Unfortunately this has resulted in basically a bottom tier fast food pizza product. This product can't sustain itself. ...

I've used this location many times, but this will be the last. 45 minutes after I order the driver shows up, has me sign the receipt and then tells me that he grabbed the wrong order... He said that he would call back and have them make a fresh one so that it was ready when he got back.

He comes back and tells me that instead he met the other driver in the parking lot and switched orders with him. Its now been about 75 minutes since I ordered.

I called the store and the "manager" said he would have another order made and sent out to me, after I told him that the order was now cold. I'm so irritated by this right now, mostly because I'm hungry, but I don't understand why they wouldn't try to compensate otherwise. I'm paying $40 to wait for an hour and half for pizza.

I just won't be using their services any longer....

I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS!!!!! I placed an online order for delivery around 6:30 pm and received THE WRONG order 45 minutes later. I called the store to notify them and the conversation was pleasant. The girl that answered and helped me was very polite and agreed to remake my order. After waiting an additional 45 minutes I received my pizza and it was incorrect yet again. I called the store and was told I would receive my money back. The girl sounded very irritated with me so I didn’t believe her. I ended up calling the corporate 1-877 number to be sure that I receive my refund. They told me someone would get back to me within 48hrs. I haven’t liked Papa Johns in years. I only ordered because my son suggested it. NEVER AGAIN WILL THEY GET...
