I’ll start by saying I’m not really one to post too many reviews but I feel like this review is necessary so others do make a mistake thinking this place will satisfy your craving for Vietnamese food. I love Vietnamese food. It’s become my favorite thing to eat out. I always order from pho 36 in avon but they are closed on Sundays so I decided to try a new place. I get it at least once a week and sometimes 2-3 times. This was the first and last time I’ll order from this place. I got the pork bahn mi, spring rolls, and beef pho. The pho broth has an odd and unappealing taste. It’s really dark and it’s nothing like other pho I’ve tried. I got a pork Bahn mi and the pork was TERRIBLE. The meat tasted like I was liking burnt chunks off of a grill. The bread was hard the meat flavor was terrible. The spring rolls had very little veggies and the shrimp had the shell on and that was an immediate loss of appetite for me. The peanut sauce had a weird taste and texture. Overall everything was pretty awful. The pho was tolerable but the shrimp shell and peanut sauce did it for me and the spring rolls went to the trash. The bahn mi I tried to eat one bite and was thrown out as well. The pho I ate a little. It wasn’t as satisfying as what I’m use to but it was at least tolerable unlike the other two items ordered. I don’t recommend this place. There are plenty of other places around the Indianapolis area that are much better. No issue with anything other than poor food quality and taste. The prices are...

I have tried Pho 21. Pho #1 and pledged I will never try Pho ever in Indy. I love Pho and decided to give another try. Pho Saigon is the best amongst these mentioned. But passable as it was low profile but good thing it was not high on salt , I had beef Pho. Soup was quite less in quantity. I had to ask for additional which the establishment complied and I appreciate it. It was hot and tasted OK. I did not like crushed black pepper, it made it murkier. Meat was enough, noodles were too clamped. Over all passable. My wife ordered Thai style curry, it was bland but it was good, and chicken was Costco rotisserie shredded, vegetable rice spring rolls were below par. Fried spring rolls were below par. When I walked in at 4 pm on a Saturday, it was empty, waitress was prompt and friendly. Place looked well kept and neat. Very nice ambience and formal dinning room touch. Decor is nice. In all fairness, south Asian food scene is PATHETIC in Indy. So no expectations anymore. I am a budget customer and not into high end restaurants. But food scene is pathetic. Indy seems to have low grade food fans. Thus lack of ethnic restaurants. Mostly chain junk food scene. And for reason beyond my comprehension,I see a lot of Mexican/ TexMex restaurants. Mexican food is simple assembly food and quite bland. In all pho has no future here. But for uninitiated eaters and people who are occasional eaters to drop names that know what Pho is, this will be ok place for...

Honestly... this is one of the worst restaurants I've ever had the displeasure of visiting.

Our waitress was rude. She only asked one of us what we wanted to drink, and brought us all the same drinks. She barely said a word to any of the other tables she waited on. I watched her roll her eyes while walking away from another customer's table.

The food is trash as well. Bland and flavorless at best and disgusting as a whole. The pho was made with instant broth mix (the same you can get at Saraga for a few bucks) instead cooking it the proper way. I barely made a dent in my bowl before I let the other waiter take it (he was rude as well)

Honestly, I'd be shocked if this place stays open much longer. They're riding off of the legacy of the previous (superior) owners and frankly, they don't seem even remotely interested in providing a good meal/service to their customers. I'm not saying they need to clap every time we take a bite, but don't treat us with...

3/29/25 first time going and i was greeted by Anh. She seated my daughter and I. We ordered crab dragoon which my the way is just sweet cream cheese no essence of crab or any other flavor, and soft spring rolls. I got the original pho and my daughter got the udon noodle bowl with shrimp and pork. She did not like hers i loved mine. I got full quickly and took the rest to go. My only issue was maybe they were short staffed because it was hard to get a waitress for refills. I tried a few time to flag down someone but they were moving so fast. I finally was able to someone's attention so i could get a refill on the water. We did enjoy ourselves and the atmosphere was very nice. Will i go back.... Yes because i want to try other things on their menu. I also took a vietnamese sandwich to go and it was not bad a lil dry but edible.

I used to love this place when it was Saigon Restaurant. I came back today hoping to eat some delicious Bahn mi sandwiches, which showed it was available on the online menu. It was not btw. So I got duck congee instead, but the duck was flavorless and rubbery. And so boiling hot it was not edible for too long. The portion size is extremely too much. I could have fed 2-3 people off my bowl. I ordered a Thai iced tea togo but it was hot with very little ice and was very syrupy tasting. If only they had added an appropriate amount of ice and stirred it up. It might have been good. I used to come here every time I came to Indy but unfortunately now I will have to pass. Very disappointing after so many years of good service. Bummed 😓
