Planet Smoothie — Restaurant in Indianapolis

The hours for this specific Planet Smoothie location are HORRIBLE! What place closes at 7:00 PM during the week and 8:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays?! ESPECIALLY during the summer months!

And I’m sorry, everyone that I know that drinks a Smoothie for breakfast makes their own [Smoothies for breakfast] at home before they leave their house for the day (uuugghh so that they can take their “breakfast Smoothie” with “on the road” while they drive to work, the gym, “kids’ drop off”, etc.). So opening daily at 7:00 AM seems like waste, and is resulting in a missed opportunity for this place to be open later in the evening (and I’m not talking about this place necessarily being open to Midnight or 1:00 AM or anything…heck even just open to 9:00-10:00 PM, nothing crazy!), ESPECIALLY since places in the area to get smoothies are basically non-existent now [since the Dairy Queen on Thompson & Emerson stopped selling smoothies].

Just go to McDonalds right across the street from this place and get a smoothie from there…their [McDonalds at Southport & Franklin] hours are better (aka they are open later and serve their smoothies during their entire operating hours), AND they’re much, much cheaper than Planet...

Last weekend, I visited Indianapolis and stopped by the store to grab a healthy snack. I didn’t realize that the smoothie store was inside the Coldstone. Despite this, I managed to stay strong and ordered a Dark & Dreamy Açaí bowl.
