I received a coupon in the mail for a free appetizer with two meals, so a guest and I ordered pulled pork loaded fries (which were great -- loaded with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, and cheese), my guest ordered a Chicken Caesar salad (which I didn't try, but it seemed standard in size -- not too large -- and standard in cost -- a little overpriced for value), and I ordered the Big Tenderloin. The menu advertised a "go bigger" option, but the waitress said they were no longer ordering/serving those. The tenderloin was a little more crispy on the outside than I would have liked, but it was still juicy on the inside. While I would have liked the "go bigger" option, the tenderloin was still a decent size. I was, however, a little disappointed with the amount of fries that came with the tenderloin, but I already had fries, so I didn't care too much, but if I hadn't had the appetizer as well, I would have been disappointed with the amount of fries. They were great fries though -- I'm not sure I'd say they were waffle fries or if they were cottage fries -- lots of seasoning on them, which was fine with me.
The waitress (Olivia) was great -- very hospitable. I asked if they had hot sauce and she brought Louisiana Hot Sauce. Then I asked if they had anything else and she checked and said they didn't but that she could bring some of their homemade buffalo sauce. Not a huge deal, but it showed that she wasn't just doing the bare minimum for serving us.
Overall, solid experience -- typical American bar food fare -- definitely worth a try with a coupon. (I'd try most restaurants with a free appetizer to...
Read moreI just ordered a pork tenderloin from Uber Eats that was supposed to be on special for buy one get one free when the order showed up there was only one sandwich instead of two that we were expecting. Seems like shakers good eats and ale keeps going down hill.
I just changed my 5 star rating to a 3 star. They changed the salad bar to half of what it used to be. This is one of the reasons we came here. Part of the change was to put the salad dressing in bottles that you have to squeeze to get it out. The wholes are so small that thicker dressing like the blue cheese or the Thousand island dressing will not come out. We will still be going back but it is not the same experience that we have come to expect from this place. We have been eating there at least once a week for several months now.
We got the salad bar and we split a tenderloin sandwich. The salad bar was one of the best that we have been to in a long time. The tenderloin was dinner plate size and between 1/4â and a 1/3â big enough for 2 big guys to split and have some to take home. The only thing that we got and did not care for was the macaroni and cheese no flavor and the texture was wrong. Everything else was great. Our server Stevie D. Was great as well. My dinner mate got a loaded Bloody Mary and they loved it said it was the best drink that they have gotten in a long time. We will be going back soon.
We came back tonight for dinner and it is even better than last time. We ordered the pretzel bread sticks and they were delicious much better than expected. Michelle was our waitress she was...
Read moreEverywhere withing 30 minutes had an hour wait and we found Shakers with some good reviews and the family wanted to try something different . . . Wow I am really shocked with this prime location you would think this place would be amazing but man were we wrong. Barely 1/2 capacity on a busy Friday night which started to make us worry. We then realized it was probally going to be bad when most of what we were going to order the waitress said not to get because it was awful and everyone has been sending it back. Family ordered wings, pizza, buger, patty melt, tenderloin and Buffalo salad. I'm trying to find something good to say about any of the food but really can't. Wings were cold and dry, burger was dry, patty melt was just a dry nothing had no toppings just 2 dry frozen tasting patties with nothing else on it, tenderloin was as if it was cooked, left out, cooked again, salted then left under a heat lamp for an hour, Pizza was just a complete disaster, then my wife's Buffalo chicken salad had maybe 1oz oz of chicken that was as if it came right out of some frozen bag, microwaved and thrown on top of some bagged greens. Onion rings seemed to be frozen ones from Kroger. I really hate to see this with a spot that has so much potential. The waitress tried her best but you could tell she was overwhelmed. This place needs and overhaul and it can be just as busy as everywhere else tonight. This all starts from the top. Management needs to start with attention on food quality...
