First I want to say I have visited this place 5 times the 4th time I couldn’t get food because the internet was down. When I walked in I was asking to place a to go order but I saw the signs says cash only she said yes the internet is down it’ll be back up soon but… and she started helping someone else then started laughing with another staff member left me standing there and told the lady she was talking to she can explain it to her I don’t have time 👀 so someone did tell me what was going on eventually so I go back today to try again I called in my order and I asked for the fries to be fresh because the last time they were not and she began to tell me to be there in so much time I let her know i was super close like three mins away she says well they don’t let the food just sit around they make everything fresh 🙄so ok I go in 2 customer were complaining of uncooked sausage and she says thats just our sausage thats how it is no matter how long they cook it that it can be pink in the middle 🤮 and then they leave and she says your order isn’t ready but your total is 19.70 I asked why so high for a sandwich and fries it’s usually 11.99 plus tax she says you added bacon that’s extra I said by how much she seemed to get irritated at the question and said all kinds of remarks about anytime you add things it’s extra I said I understand I just don’t want to pay 5 dollars for 2 slices of bacon on a sandwich and she rudely says its not 2 its four pieces right after she tells the cook dont put it on my sandwhich and he picks up 2 slices i didnt say anything and she just kept going its like a pizza place you add topping you pay extra she seemed very upset and was very rude i said you know what i dont even want the food at all now because why wont i give a place like this my money customer service is key and she was not nice i wont be back and thats sad because its a ok place to eat. Read moreMy most recent visit was terribly disturbing. I was asked not to come back to this restaurant after not wanting to pay for a catfish dinner I believed to be Swai. The management insisted I pay for the meal even though I had asked the waitress prior to make sure I was getting catfish fillet and not Swai as many restaurants serve as catfish fillet. The waitress stated she did not know the difference between the 2 fish but stated it was good and she believes that they do serve real catfish fillet. Once my order came, I saw that it indeed was Swai and changed my order to a cheeseburger deluxe. While eating the management came to my booth with the fish to tell me I was wrong and the fish indeed was catfish. I politely told her that the fish she was serving was Swai and attempted to show a photo of Swai as she stated she didn't even know what Swai was. She then went on to say they order quality fish and walked away. Later during my meal, the waitress brought the fish back stating , I was told to give you this fish. So I thought they were just giving me the fish for free instead of just disposing. Once I checked the bill, I noticed the catfish dinner on the bill. I then asked the waitress, do the management think I'm going to pay for something I don't want. She stated they run a tight ship, she was sorry but the manager wants me to pay. I then proceeded to the check out and asked for the manager. She then came out insisting the fish was catfish and I have to pay. I refused to pay and asked if she could show me the box the fish came out as she continued to point out that the fish was catfish and the box it come from states catfish. I asked to see the box and she refused. She then adjusted the bill removing the catfish and told me not to ever return to the restaurant. I didn't get upset as I was accompanied by my mother and brother for a mother's day meal. After paying I tipped the waitress and assured her I was not...
Read moreI have enjoyed eating at Seros over the past year or so but recently we went in for dinner and discovered they now automatically add tips to your bill. Not just for partys of 8 or more but for any number of guests. My meal cost about $31 (and some change) including taxes and they added a tip of $6.30. That’s at least a 20% tip. I spoke with the manager and she said the waitresses had to split their tips with the folks who clean the tables. That is the restaurant’s responsibility to pay the bus boys; it should not be the customers who have to pay additional money on their bill. Another issue with this automatic tip policy is all service is not equal. On that occasion, we had to constantly look for the waitress to get refills on our drinks. In the past, we have always left a tip when we received decent service; it didn’t have to be excellent. However, the amount was indicative of the service we received on that occasion. Tips should be based on service and not automatic for anyone unless maybe serving a large party. My job bases my bonus on my performance. Another thing to note is that this new policy was not shared with us until we saw it on our bill and questioned it. In addition, after questioning the manager about the new policy, she was very arrogant and rude while telling me our tip would be used to pay for the waitress and the bus boys. At times, we have taken large groups to eat at Seros. We will no longer support Seros and will be informing all our friends that we have recommended in the past about this experience. The only reason I gave them one star. is that the...
