I just left this location to get an acai Bowl. The worker was wiping the counters with gloves on, then turned around to grab the bowl to make my order without changing them. He put his fingers inside the bowl. I said, "You just wipe the counters with those same gloves and then put your fingers inside the bowl." Can you change your gloves? He started moving his lips as if he was upset, he went to was his hands and then stared at me from the time he left the front counter until be got to the end where he was about to start making my bowl. I said I don't want home making my bowl because apparently he had an attitude now. I then asked the girl that rang me up, who supposedly be the shift leader, if she could make my bowl because I didn't want him making it at that point because apparently he had an attitude. She told me NO she's doing something. I asked her what you were doing because it looked like she's just standing there to me. She said she's writing on the board. Needless to say, this started a big argument between her and I, which it didn't even have to go that far, but she was antagonizing the situation. I asked for my money back, and she was still taking it and even cursing at me. Anther worker came from the back (Amy). I believe it was her name. I asked her to make my bowl. The shift leader told her not to because I asked for a refund, and she's giving my money back. I asked for the corporate number, she said go online and find it yourself, and we're a franchise anyway. I am asking want if a manager or the owner would pull that video? You will see how all of that transpired, how unnecessary it was, and how things escalated. The workers here need to be retrained and apparently talk some safety regulations about handling food. I don't understand why it's not common sense not to touch food after handling chemicals. Apparently, common sense is not so common. This is no way a customer who's spending their money at your establishment should be treated. Because they asked for cleanliness when their food is being handled. THANK YOU ANY FOR BEING PROFESSIONAL AND...
Read moreI usually go to a different Smoothie King for my açaí bowls, but decided to try the location near my job due to long waits at my regular spot. I ordered through the app, which gave a 15–25 min prep time. When I arrived (10 min later), the bowl was already made—and by the time I got back to work, the frozen base had melted. I left feedback and got a call from the manager, Mike, a few days later. I missed it and called back, but never got a return call. A week later, I finally spoke with him. He said no one else had complained about melted bowls—I let him know I’ve never had that issue either in over 6 months of buying at least two bowls a week from my usual location. He only offered $5 off my next one—not a full replacement. For a $13 bowl, that’s disappointing. The location is clean and service is fast, but the product wasn’t up to standard, and the customer service follow-up was lacking. I won’t be returning to...
Read moreThis is our first visit to this Keystone location. We discovered it across the street from us while we waited for a tire replacement.
Talk about GREAT first impressions! As my wife, daughter, and I walked through the front door we were immediately greeted by a kind lady who was preparing an order for another guest. We were then greeted by Mike who helped us with our orders.
Mike graciously answered our questions on various menu items, helping us to narrow down selections that best suited our tastes! He thoughtfully shared details of the benefits of using the SK mobile app!
Our smoothies were DELICIOUS!
Despite a steady flow of customers, we were impressed by how clean the dining area and restrooms were maintained! We can tell these fine workers care about their store and customers! Hats off to Mike for a wonderful job and we look forward to...
