Tea's Me Community Cafe — Restaurant in Indianapolis

Tea’s Me Café at Tarkington Park is one of my favorite community spots in the city. The location inside the park makes it a perfect place to grab lunch, connect with neighbors, or just take a break. The space is fun, artful, and thoughtfully designed for community use—it regularly hosts meetings, events, and can even be rented after hours.

The café reflects everything I admire about Tamika Catchings. Her personality, passion, and humility are everywhere in this place. You might even see her behind the counter or chatting with guests—she truly leads by example.

The menu is small but has great healthy and vegan-friendly options. I had the Chicken, Bacon & Ranch sandwich with a spinach salad—really good! I’ll be back to try the carrot cake I keep hearing about.

This is a beautiful establishment and really exemplifies the term "community"! Set within a community park, it has tons of seating space indoor and outdoors and a huge variety of tea, food, desserts, and snacks. The staff is super friendly and will help you pick a tea, and I love their punch card program. I got my Cloud Catcher yea for free! The only thing I didn't see was accessible furniture -- the chairs are small folding ones and there doesn't seem to be any other options, while I know their other location has more of a variety of seating. Love this Black Owned Community Cafe! I grew up around this area and, on a recent visit back home, was so excited about this location! It's exactly the health inspiration that the community there needs. I love that the owner saw the need and put it there. I've been a long time fan of Tea's Me since it was on the Circle and so I was really excited to have the same delicious breakfast/lunch offerings and tea in one of my old neighborhoods. Love the music selection that the staff played (on low not to disturb anyone working, but I wanted it louder lol) If I lived in Nap/Indy, I would go here...
