Vibez Ultra Lounge — Restaurant in Indianapolis

I normally post great reviews when good service and good food flow, but not last night. My fiance and I went to Vibez to order a pizza around 10:30 p.m. Thursday. When we arrived, the place was packed. We went inside to find two people checking id's and bags. (I had a small backpack.) The two were uninviting and asked for our id's. When I showed mine, I was told to take it out of my wallet which I did. Then, the other person asked for my backpack and rummaged through it so harshly, I thought the contents would fall out. Then, she "searched me" much more than TSA as I felt violated with the touching! My fiance pulled out his military id. The female who searched me rolled her eyes as the male was equally rude. After this experience, we went to stand at the bar behind another person who was ordering. We waited patiently, but when we weren't acknowledged after the previous person's order was taken, we thought "why are we waiting to order and give our money to people whom I felt violated?" My fiance turned to me as we both said, "we're not paying for this treatment, let's go." With that, Vibez won't see us ever again. Maybe it was an off night for their so-called unprofessional security, and the person at the bar who ignored us, but I doubt it since it was a busy and loud karaoke night! I went here for the first time on Saturday & on there Grand Opening & to say the place looks good, the security did well, and the bartenders were very nice and the waitress was very generous with us, I was with my People’s. I really like the neon blue, which was pretty cool inside and outside. Which was cool also, you could Vape inside, but not smoke cigarettes only outside. If I’m not mistaken, but I saw someone that was smoking a Vape like a hookah. Which was different than the one I usually go to in Broad Ripple that’s good that they have that here close to home. We went on a what they called a sophisticated Saturday. Sophisticated it was NOT. Quite "trife". There was a lot of what you call tennis skirts that nobody playing tennis and so short is not even worth you having a skirt on. The DJ was cool I like that he mixed in so r&b with the rap.
