Due to that Toys R Us closed down. I decide to take my daughter to check out what Target had to offer in toys. Since I take her out for a reward. For keeping up with chores, being honest, having good behavior, and doing well at school. Cashier Antie agrued with myself, mother, and daughter that items weren't on sale. Since price screener showed differently. Myself, Mother, and daughter asked would she like for one of us to go take photo of the items showing they were on sale? Antie said, "That's not needed at all. Screener kept up front states the items aren't on sale." Myself, mother, and daughter explained the sign in Toy isle showed differently. Antie said, "She would call someone on walkie talkie to look if items was marked on sale, correct area, and for price given by all of us." I said, " That's perfectly fine. I told my mother why I and my daughter waited for confirmation on what we all told cashier Antie. The gentleman on walkie stated, That the Toys were placed in correct area, did show they was on sale, items was marked on sale previously dated, and items were no longer on sale." Antie said, "You heard him" I said, "Yes, we heard him but we wasn't in fault that previous sale price wasn't removed and should get the value the items was marked on sale on display." Antie said, " She'd give us a ten percent discount on items but she wouldn't sell them to us for what sign and display was marked due to it was previously on sale and no longer offer." I said, " No thanks since that's not what sign showed. Please give us the price sign displayed." Antie said, " Here's ten percent off. At least be happy I'm giving you a discount." I said, " I'm not here to agrue with you over the point of why we're in right to get price momently. I'll contact store manager after corporate office about how she was acting towards myself, daughter, and mother over issue that wasn't our fault that store didn't change displayed sale price."

I'm changing my review because of me not having to get in touch with management. Management reached out to myself on situation. Totally apologized for inconvenience of situation that occurred with cashier at retail store. I am going to give Target another chance due to management resolving issue and reaching out to myself. Read moreI was in Sunday around 1pm in the pharmacy section. I was buying personal care products but was not looking forward to standing in the crowded lines with my products and seen that the cashier at the counter was helping a customer. However when I got up there they were talking personal business about their kids. She rang her up her purchase which was ELMER'S SCHOOL GLUE when I approached , she then stated she couldn't help me even though it had literally been a few seconds since she rang her friend up. I stated my bad I seen you help her and i figured since i had bought products from the pharmacy i could pay here. She rudely said no and that was it. So target can pay their employees to handle their personal business at work and to be rude to customers. GREAT JOB!!! This is the MOST important thing about this review: Her tone (not just the words) from beginning to end was pleasant and willing to be helpful. The situation: I needed to know if a specific houseware item was in stock. She confirmed online it showed the item in stock. When I explained that I would be traveling from the east to the west Indianapolis and did not want to find out it wasn't there, she OFFERED to have someone check and ASKED if she could put me on hold. While on hold she came back on the phone to let me know the long hold was due to her having the person bring the item to the cust serv front. (And, the hold time had not been that long.)
