I stayed here the night of Thursday, July 25th, 2024. ||The whole place was dated -- as in it was probably great in the 90's -- but that doesn't bother me, though the parking lot being literally full of potholes should have been a red flag as to the maintenance and care of this hotel. It had been a long day on the road for us and, unfortunately, hindsight sees things most clearly. ||Room 252: Unknown to us, this was our first room of the night. The AC was barely working in late July but, whatever. It got late so I pulled down the covers to sleep and, suddenly, there's a little red bug starts crawling across the sheets toward me. I took a photo (included) of the creature and Googled it; textbook bedbug. Pulled up the mattress and found its nest (also pictured). Went to front desk, asked to be moved to different side of hotel. ||Room 240: I started moving our stuff to the new room but, thankfully, looked under the mattress first. Another bedbug nest. Checked the other bed. Yet another bed bug nest. Also, my son stepped in a half-eaten rotting deli sandwich that was still under one of the beds. I headed back to front desk. ||Room 152: third room of the night. AC works great, no obvious bedbug nests, and it's gotten really late. I just wanted to sleep. Got our stuff moved and unpacked and then realized that there were virtually no lights in the room; nearly all of the fixtures have been removed. Also, there were gashes and holes in the walls. The bathroom shower curtain couldn't stay closed as the shower rod was falling off the wall and the towel rack couldn't hold towels for the same reason. My son was so freaked out by the whole experience that he slept sideways across the foot of the bed and would not allow me to turn off the one remaining light in the room during the night. ||Oh, incidentally, if you're booking this hotel hoping to use the laundry facilities, the "facilities" actually consist of a single washer and dryer and they're also broken.||I wrote a complaint to Wyndham that night and their customer service rep (Monica) followed up with me the following week. As compensation for this ordeal, they have offered me 3,000 Wyndham rewards points which is, essentially, a $15 discount on my next Wyndham stay. This is wholly inadequate and I told them as much. Monica contacted me again today and let me know that they refused to do anything more than that. I told Wyndham to keep their points as I won't be using...

Read moreThis was the worst hotel I have ever been in. I wish that I had spent more time reading reviews and checking out ratings. I was so determined to find a hotel room with a jacuzzi tub for my husband's birthday that I guess I just bypassed it all. First, I try not to be a judgemental person, but the first thing I noticed when we checked in was that the lady at the desk looked like she just rolled out of bed. I found it unprofessional. Sorry. The "breakfast" area was...well...a counter top with no breakfast. When we got our room the door was difficult to open and you had to really pull it hard behind you to close it when you left or else your room would be a free for all. The room was gross looking, and smelled musty and damp. The jacuzzi tub leaked somewhere underneath because when we filled it up the carpet got damp. One of the handles was also loose and came off if we we're not careful. The toilet would not flush the toilet paper down at all. The water just swirled around when you flushed. Also, they didn't even put toilet paper on the roll holders, they just set them on top and one of the rolls was literally shredded. Half of our towels were shredded and had holes in them. The backs of the end tables and cabinet the held the fridge were falling apart. My husband and I just decided to deal with it because we were only in Indy for one night and we had reservations for dinner and no time to have to hunt down somewhere else to stay. When I woke up and was gathering my things to leave I then found ROACHES. Needless to say if I had to choose between that hotel and my car I'd sleep in my car. The people running that place are lazy, and that place needs to just be shut down....
