China Bistro — Restaurant in Indio

I have been coming here a few times and they always have bad attitudes. I figured that was just their personality. I came today with a party of eight; with two being the age of four. their was no sign saying wait to seated, so I asked to sit in the other dinning area to avoid any disturbance and because we didn't fit in the main dining area. She got mad and argued with me. I told her we did not fit, so then she realized it after we sat down, so she moved us to the other dinning area. Then the to younger ones share a drink and plate, the owner came out and started yelling at us with the children present and said that we can not be getting refills because they are sharing and I answered "how much do you charge for refills." He replied "we don't charge for refills." I said then whats the problem, do not come yelling at us. Then he comes charging at me, very aggressive and the server had to hold him. This mans behavior in front of children is not acceptable. This is not a children friendly place. They get mad when people are sharing. The man made a comment about that too. There was flies disturbing during our meal. I WILL NOT RETURN!!!! I WILL NOT RECOMMEND IT!!!! I WILL TELL EVERYONE HOW BAD IT IS WITH DETAILS!!!! First time trying this place. I was skeptical because anybody is trying a new place. Off the bat everyone was friendly we were seated as soon as me and boyfriend walked in. Prices are reasonable we wanted to order to go because I was sick and didn’t want to disturb anyone with my coughing. So as we were going through the menu we the waiter gave us water and crispy noodles with the sweet and sour sauce. Which I never experienced which I really liked. So we finally order and waited for our food the waiters meaning all of them were very attentive filling our waters while we waited. So after about 15 minutes our food was ready . We had order crispy spring rolls , sesame chicken, chow mein, and fried rice. When we got home to eat wow I was very shock on how everything tasted everything was really really good. Very good flavor and they give us quite a bit we can go 2 or even 3 rounds for 2 people. Very worth it . From the service to the food...

Mediocre at best. My sister ordered the potstickers for an appetizer, and the vegetable chow fun. We had to call the waitress back, because she walked away without taking my order. Strange. I ordered fried shrimp appetizer and sweet and sour chicken. The pot stickers were tasty. The fried shrimp definitely were not worth the price. Overcooked and very skinny. According to my sister, the chow fun had too many bean sprouts and no green vegetables of any kind. My sweet and sour chicken was the worst I ever had. The pieces of chicken were overcooked to the point of being hard. The chicken was tough, there wasn't enough sauce to soften the pieces.
