This little market is a hidden gem! My 16yo daughter brought it to my attention as our family enjoy authentic Asia cuisine. I was immediately struck with the impeccable cleanliness and pleasant atmosphere of the entire store. Clean as a whistle! It had my attention immediately with that! There was a very small but meaningful and targeted selection. This particular day we were in search of furikake seasoning which we found but unfortunately it contained a milk ingredient and my daughter is severely allergic. Despite that, we had a blast buying different crisps, ground white pepper and some other hard to find items. The woman working at the store was very kind and polite. We will certainly be back to this great little hidden treasure of a store and try some of the frozen items and will not resist some of the coffee mixes this time! I have been shopping at this store for years. I make it a point to support local businesses but I am disappointed. I attempted to visit the store this past Saturday to purchase some specialty items that are specific to a Filipino store. The store was closed with no sign to state why. I visited this store the day before on Friday and no sign posted that they would be closed on Saturday. I asked the nearby restaurant (Alkobar Grill) if they had any information and all they could tell me is that "they have inconsistent hours". I called the store today to ask what happened with Saturday and the owner said "I don't know". Remember that customers are always first.

I will give them another chance but I may have to support the Fil Am Market in Cathedral...

Recently, I found out about this place, and it is awesome! Although it may be small it has so many things from teppoki, boba, rice flower, kimchi, and the list goes on. The process are reasonable, especially given the import tax. Also, when you shop here, make sure you check the sell by date. Since there isn't a whole lot of traffic, stuff tends to sit there for a while so make sure you consume quick. For example, I bought an ube flavoring that expires this August where the pandan flavoring still has a few years to go (they're both the dame brand). Great place and...
