I order Pollo Loco at least 3 times a week as it's a good deal, good food and fast service. I've order 3 times at the particular Indio location the 2 prior times has been via drive thru and service was bad. But I always give the benefit of doubt because we all have those days. Today I ordervia mobile like I always do. When I arrive if there is no one on drive thru I normally go at my regular location. The girl at the Indio location was rude since the beginning as I told her I was there for a mobile order the words out of her mouth was come inside. I thought I misunderstood her so I asked again and she reply you need to come inside. But with a rude voice. As I walked away the gentleman at the register already had an attitude with another customer. After he told me my food will be out shortly the same lady from the drive thru rudely place my bag on the counter without and acknowledgement. When I try to share my feedback with the alleged Owner he asked well had a Messed up attitude very condescending I even told him as an owner he should be able to accept feedback but all he rid is made gesture to brush me off. Read moreAt one point I would have rated this restaurant a 5 rating, however there was an incident with two male employees in the drive thru. To begin with the employee who took our order had attitude when speaking, it was clear he was over it. When we provided a $2 coupon and the register wasn't accepting it, the employee who took our order asked another employee for help. The other employee took over the transaction, since the initial employee seemed to be clocking out, and tried stating it was expired, which it wasn't and had to ask a supervisor for advise. It was finally put through manually and as we were driving away I realized I didn't get my drink. I double checked to see if it was even included to the order on the receipt, which it wasn't. I wanted to adjust something on the menu and he was screaming at messaging he cant do that, i told him ive done it before. But I left it at that. He didn’t want to give me my receipt and he said he didn’t know were he left it, I said i need my receipt. I have lived in indio all my life and this location was one of my family favorites ,this guy says he is the owner with his brother and he came in back of me and took a picture of my car plates, so I called the cops. The cop said bes allowed to do that. I will drive go to this location again. I Will drive farther if I have to.
