I've been ordering from this location for about a year and a half now, mainly out of convenience. Either I pick up the order or somebody else picks it up for me. This location regularly gets my order wrong. I usually don't say anything because I'm usually in a hurry, which is why I mobile order to begin with, or somebody was nice enough to pick it up for me and can't tell if it's wrong. I noticed this usually happens when I get to the drive thru & let them know I have a pick up order. It's when they say "oh we're not quite done with that yet" I already know it's not going to be right. I understand, Starbucks is a very busy business, which is why I stuck it out for a year. But the drinks are not cheap and paying for something being mostly incorrect isn't great. Today was my last order at this location . While going thru the drive thru, on the first visit, the employee at the ordering station asked to us to go around for the second time bc “the order was not ready”. When they asked to go around the second time or park nearby, we asked the employee if they were bringing our order to our car, they said no, “we can’t do that!” So we had to go around one more time but with a lot of frustration and confused as to why, if the window is not so busy, we still have to go around. The second visit was the same: employee asking if we could go around one more time bc “our order is not ready” while ordering ONE MATCHA DRINK!!!!!There was ONLY one car behind and no cars in front. My sister said no that she preferred to wait in the car and the employee told her “she kind of had to”, my sister proceeded to say that she would wait at the window and if that was not ok she then would call corporate!! Read more2024Update I want to report that this location had made a 360 in improvements although the drive thru is still madness due to how it was designed-but the staff the beverages and food are top notch what you would expect from a Starbucks this morning the woman who handed me my coffee gave me the biggest most beautiful smile I was moved. This location is now my go-to.
The bad: The location on 111 and Monroe IS ALWAYS out of skinny cinnamon dolce...the dragonfruit... this location is on the busiest places in indio...it needs to Stock up...we live 3 minutes from there and always choose to drive to a further one to avoid dissapointment. The good: staff is always nice, kind always smiling line moves fast. Update: this location also has the WORST Drive thru entries it's narrow and drivers from Hwy 111 can easily enter into the drive thru line the problem is if there is a long line that driver can crash into the drive thru vehicle....
