Bruno's Burgers & Tacos — Restaurant in Inglewood

Normally I would give them 4 Stars and I have been going for years but recently I ordered a Breakfast Burrito and they added too much Cheese and it was the runny kind of cheese, like for Nacho's? I don't know what they were thinking that day? I did not call but since I never finished the Burrito and I was a regular, I walked in a couple day's later with the Burrito and an explanation of why I had not eaten it. I was not asking for any money back, but I asked for a Discount on a Breakfast Burrito that morning, especially since I get reduced ingredients, just egg and bacon minus everything else and I still pay for a Full Breakfast Burrito! Do you know that that Man would not extend a Courtesy Discount to me after I explained that the last Burrito was unedible to me! I really felt I was being fair and giving him an easy option to make it up to me and keep me coming back. I guess he did not see it that way, he refused any accommodation for my dissatisfaction. I absolutely can't go back to a place that values my service so little and is not willing to take my complaint seriously and try to make amends, considering how long I had been going there. No excuse; it would have been of little cost to him and it would have gone a long way in showing me my complaint was taken seriously and my patronage was of value to him. Regarding Bruno’s Burgers on Manchester. On 12/19/20 I placed my usual order of Chili Cheese Fries. Mind you, I've been a loyal customer for over 10 years. When I got home (I live on the other side of town, several miles away) my order was TERRIBLE, undercooked and sloppy. Could not eat it, tossed it out. Called the following morning, explained the situation to the owner who apologized and said that he would GIVE ME A COMPLETE REFUND. I drove over there (from the other side of town, several miles away). When I got there the owner said he didn't know me, didn't know what I was talking about and demanded to see the TERRIBLE FOOD. This was a $16 order. I was understandably upset and voiced my displeasure. He then called me the N-word and told me to get the f**k out of his establishment. This is a O.G spot, and the guy who helped us hooked our Carne Asada Fries up. Covered in steak, cheese, onion and sour cream like we ordered. It's not on the menu, but he made it for us. $20 but it fed us as a couple with left overs for sure. We added some guacamole and that topped it off. The meat was tender and perfect. We looked everywhere for good steak fries. Better than Lucy's on Labrea. BOOM! NO LIE. I only wish they were open later, like 24hrs. Try it. Highly recommended.
