Mr Fries Man — Restaurant in Inglewood

Had a horrible experience just now after paying for a regular size (which is the large size) chili cheese fries, spending almost $14 AND LEAVING A TIP, to not receive what I asked for. For my FRY LOVERS out there, NOBODY wants undercooked fries, which is why when ordering I stressed to the cashier at the counter to please cook them EXTRA EXTRA well done. She says ok and that it'll be 5-10 mins.. I come back in 7 just to be on the safe side and see that my fries are undercooked with a whole bunch of chili and cheese on top. When I let her know, she says they're not crispy because they've been sitting there for a few minutes. If they've been sitting there for a few minutes, then that means they're NOT WELL DONE. 💡 it means they weren't cooked long enough to be well done. I asked if they could possibly remake them, and she fights me on it, then says she could give me a JUNIOR chili cheese fry instead? I paid for the big one AND tipped -- why would I walk out with a small when I paid for a large? She tells me there are NO REFUNDS and walks outside to call her manager. Why do you need to go outside? What do you need to communicate to him that you can't say in front of me? Very shady business. She comes back in and relays her manager said NO to the remake. She says I can wait for the manager to get there, which may have been 30 minutes or more. I have things to do. Also, there was no guarantee that when he got there, my food would have been remade, so then you would have taken my money AND my time? If the young lady would have thought my ask was important enough to express it to the cook, I don't think I would even be writing this long review. It's not wasting food if the cashier would have communicated my order correctly. The customer service here is poor, very disappointing, and there is a lack of training. IT'S GIVING LACK OF APPRECIATION FOR SUPPORTING A BLACK BUSINESS. I'm sorry (but not sorry to say) as some of my fellow black people know, it's hard supporting SOME black businesses because they won't do right. DO NOT WAST YOUR TIME CONING HERE ! You can tell all positive reviews are from friends or family! STAY AWAY!!!

First of all as we entered place looked abandoned, no one in the front to greet customers as a walk-in let alone no music plane.

Second, the young lady African-American was Very rude and unprofessional, and did not have any customer service qualities. Never acknowledged us at all and made it seem we were bugging her when we were looking to order just drinks, she just pointed and at the same time, walk away and told us to order it through a kiosk they have in front of the counter.

Third Make sure you read their minds because not every day they decide to take cash even though they have a cash register seat in front of you. They decide when and when they do not want to take cash.

Overall review of this place if I can give this place a zero believe me, I would don’t waste your time or money and if the owner is reading this...

I was just in the area to go to the doctor’s office. I was hungry so after seeing the sign on the corner, I figured I’d give this place a try. My phone actually died while I was in the process of paying and I had no other way to pay for the food. George was a life saver. Not only did he find a charger for me, while I waited he gave me a sample of the different sauces offered with each meal. I tasted them all but the one that resonated with me the most was the garlic lemon sauce. I order the chicken and shrimp fries and when I say it was good that is an understatement. I highly recommend the fries man restaurant. I don’t know what George does to make his food taste so good but, he’s got a new customer in me. I’m So glad I stumbled into this restaurant.
