Red's Flavor Table Takeout — Restaurant in Inglewood

I personally know that the food is good but, my recent experience here left a bad taste in my mouth. My family and I arrived at Red's to celebrate my mother in law's 88th birthday. Yet, we were refused to be seated because Red's was closing in an hour. When I replied that the online site mention operating hours between 8-3pm, I was taken aback when the alledged part owner said that 2:30pm was the establish closing hour. I stated that there was at least an hour before an establishment would shutdown. We were admonished very rudely that "it is what it is." To make matters worse the same gentleman who claimed to be part owner asked if we were familiar with Post & Beam? Claiming to be the owner there as well he encouraged me to go there and he'd call ahead to give the manager a heads up that we were coming. We went there but of course no advance notice from this shaman to the staff. Am I wrong for wanting more from our local restaurant? First, there should be an operation hours revision on their site to show the correct hours. 2nd the sole reason you are in business is to be profitable. And while I'm sure our contribution may not keep them afloat, who turns down money? 3rd If this were a non-ethnic restaurant we probably would have gotten served. It'll be awhile before I decide to patronize this...

I've been here before ,this time was different. I ordered my breakfast and sat inside and waited for my order mind you there were 4 other people in line behind me as one lady went to order her food. She asked if it came with a biscuit. The lady taking her order said yes. All of our breakfasts come with biscuits. She then later faded to another customer that they only comes with biscuits. When the customer requested toast Then the customer after that, she stated that it came with biscuits. I actually proceeded to take their order. Then I decided halfway through my order. I really wanted French toast, so I ordered I order French toast. Then my order was ready. I get home. There are no biscuits mind you. The order comes with biscuits. There were dinner rolls, Hawaiian rolls to be exact. I then called annexed. How about the biscuits? She then stated to me, all breakfasts come with biscuits. Unless we don't have biscuits, then we give you dinner rolls. I asked her why she refused to say that when I was placing my order or when anyone else was placing their order? Okay so let me start by saying I LOVE great customer service when I walked in the atmosphere, and the greeting I felt was EXCELLENT!! There’s a beautiful sista with beautiful locs at the front and she’s so kind and personal *if you’re reading this I appreciate you! ( didn’t catch her name ) 🥰

Okay now let’s get to the food! My plate slid while driving and I just KNEW there would be a mess when I got home BUT when I opened my bag everything was perfectly in place because of the simple hack they used and I was extremely appreciative of that I immediately went to yelp to leave a review... then I opened my food which was wrapped in plastic wrap so it wouldn’t open or leak 😍 and devoured my food for 5 minutes straight!!! The food is D E L I C I O U S and not just I’m starving this will do delicious.. it was I have to try dinner from there because this breakfast is bomb.com delicious. I ordered the loaded potatoes with the works 🤯😍 and a side of wings!! You won’t be disappointed at all!!!
