Okay... Normally I wouldn't review a fast food joint like McDonald's, but my recent experience at this location made me feel I needed to do one.
So I ordered breakfast using the McDonald's app. That went great! App does what they say it will do! Perfect! So I ordered for pickup at this McDonald's, paid for the order using the app, and drove to the McDonalds. When I got to the parking lot, I told the app I was there, the app asked me where did I want to pick it up and I selected the drive-thru. I told the drive-thru I was picking up an app order, I went to the first window and picked up my receipt, and went to the second window to get my food. Up to this point it's been a great experience! The employee at the second window confirms my order, looks in the bag, reads off everything on my order, ask me if that's every thing, I said yes, he hands me the bag and says have a nice day. Perfect! Friendly, courteous, couldn't ask for more!
I get home prepared to eat breakfast, and of course one of the items that I ordered was missing! This happens to me at McDonald's, on average about half of the time I go to McDonalds. I thought this time, since the employee looked in the bag, and recited to me what was on my order, that he had actually looked in the bag and confirmed that what he was telling me was actually in the bag. The missing item was a breakfast burrito. They had put the salsa for my breakfast burrito in the bag, but not the burrito!
Was this a huge deal? No. It cost a $1.69. It was not worth my time to leave the house at 8am in the morning, waste a quarter tank of gas to go back to the restaurant to get my missing burrito, and then come all the way back home to cold food.
But... This restaurant gets three stars simply because of this. If anything else had gone less-than-stellar, I would have given two stars. And a reminder... Always check your order at...
Read moreI come here all the time and it never seems to amaze me that your staff has either forgotten something or the food has been cold or the fries are way too salty. I understand its a fast pace resturante but that doesn't mean you can't be efficient enough to get the food order right. The reason I'm writing this review today is because i stopped there today and picked up a large order for my co workers and guess what 1.Food wasn't all there, 2. The fries were salty as hell, 3. I spoke with a staff not sure if it was a manager or not but i notices that i was being talked to as if i wanted something free and all i wanted was to inform them of their mistakes but got treated in a way that made me feel like i had to make a review. Customers Service should be worked on, I didnt just spend my hard earned money I spent others who work hard to have a decent lunch money as well. No one was happy with there orders what the hell going on in there. Hire some competent staff with great customer service . My money wasn't offered back and all i got was a Im sorry it wont happen again. Heard that 1 too many times already...
Read moreI had no choice but to give at least 1 star.. unfortunately i wouldn't give this mcdonalds any stars at all.. i go in there every single day to get a XL caramel iced coffee with EXTRA caramel and cream. I will no longer be going to this one. Instead id rather drive the extra mile for something worth my money. Today i went in at about 2:45 pm. My coffee was brown as it was sitting in front of me, as she says here is your extra caramel and cream coffee. I took it, and it was DISGUSTING. It was so bad that i didn't even waste my time complaining cause I've complained multiple times before hand and nothing has been done. So i take my BROWN iced caramel coffee w/extra cream/caramel, and i bring it to the mcdonalds on 80th st e in inver grove heights. Their manager was so appalled at what i was handed that she gave a me a beautiful perfect coffee for free!! I wish i could post my picture cause it's just sad. This mcdonalds on cahill and upper 55th st is turning into crap, and employees there are rude and not friendly at all! Get rid of your staff...
