I'm a country girl.. so when I seen chicken fried steak on the menu I got a lil happy. Was looking foward to that with a side of sliced tomatoes. Server comes over ... out of white gravy. She suggested the brown on my CFS.. "Ummm, No ma'am it just wouldn't be the same(not for me)." So i went with the Mushroom Swiss burger an fries. The burger was perfectly cooked medium. The fries I threw a lil salt an pepper on, they was okay. But that burger yall.. The best 1 I had since I've moved to Florida. An the server was a sweet heart. My drink never was empty. An when you been working in the heat all day... I was big thirsty. I really appreciated that an here kindness. She was different than the servers that I got accustomed to since moving here. I don't remember her name cause its been a long hot day. But her ol' man was from Kentucky (just like me). That was my very 1st time eating there, BUT definitely not my last. I'm really looking foward to that chicken fried steak with extra white gravy..An that side of tomatoes. MmmHmmm

Sorry to say I hadn't been to Joe's before. It will be a #1 goto from now on. Had a craving for liver and onions, and Joe's delivered!!! Every bit as good as my homemade. We seldom eat out because I cook so much better than most restaurants. Husband has fish and chips, which he said was delicious. Cole slaw was cold and fresh. Hot food was HOT when it came to our table. Staff was joyous and rapidly moving to handle the folks. I took half of my dinner home and thoroughly enjoyed the remainder later on. We brought home a piece of to-die-for carrot cake with a frosting like cheesecake. Superior.

Was delicious at the old location and is just as delicious now. Try the HOMEMADE Corn Beef Hash! I love the "big two" with bacon, sausage eggs, and the most amazingly prepared potatoes, top that off with a grilled biscuit. Absolutely amazing down home, local breakfast cuisine. Another thing I have to share about Joe's. They have ALWAYS had a special wall to honor those who've fought for us. You would be amiss if you didn't come to Joe's at least once on your way through.

Our first visit at Joes Family Restaurant and what an absolutely amazing breakfast experience! The whole family just had a great time. We heard some chatter around town and had to go. We had the pleasure of meeting and being helped by Miss Mo. She helped us order and highly recommended the Philly cheese steak omelette and told us it was made with fresh roast beef and the corned beef hash was homemade. My wife was ecstatic since this is one of her favorites and is really picky. Our kids had pancakes and eggs. Miss Mo also recommended a slice of homemade Pecan and Pumpkin pie. DELICIOUS ! The kids cleaned their plates, for all you other parents out there, you understand that sometimes that is just impossible when taking them out. The omelettes and hash were out of this world! And the pies! Seriously, I'm going to quote the wifey here and say OMGOSH!!!! We could either eat the pies in house or we could even order to take them home. Obviously we ate them with our breakfast. The kids asked for more afterwards! For our first visit we honestly couldn't ask for better service, or a better time. Miss Mo treated us so well. We were made to feel right at home. Sometimes you go out and just don't get treated like people. Definitely not the case here. We will definitely be going back and asking for...

Ok, soooo…… First impression of the new, JOE’s Family Restaurant? 👎 👎 The waitress was great for most everything. I ordered the Country Fried Steak & gravy with 2 eggs scrambled w/Cheese and Cheese Grits. The CF-Steak was very tasty but very small and the gravy was COLD 🥶 , (same with gravy on Mom’s Bisciuts & gravy), and as you can see in the picture…the cook is very lazy…. just slaps a slice of cheese ontop of the eggs & ontop of the grits as well. I asked about that, the waitress says the cook does that bcuz the cheese fries up and gets stuck all over the grill…ummm….. did he fry my Grits on the grill too??? (no response). I just got back in September from, 10k mile trip around the country on the motorcycles, ate breakfast out every single day and never came across this LAZY CHEESE habit. Even shredded cheese on top would be better. Think I’ll stick with...
