Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Inverness

During times like these when local businesses need the support of the community, it is not appropriate for your staff, specifically Mary, to chase away customers. Mary came across with a sense of entitlement as she did not care or allow me to speak with her superior regarding her nasty attitude toward the customer, and failed to provide pizza deals to choose from. I placed my order at your large competitor instead whose quality and pricing is far much better. I encourage others reading reviews to pay careful attention to authentic reviews such as this one. The pizza and service at Papa John's Inverness is not worth your money. There is far much better pizza, service and pricing at other locations!

Update: Apparently Mary's superior, Michael, is a relative (perhaps her dad or grandfather) whose attitude and lack of business etiquette is worse than Mary's. Michael called me five hours after I contacted corporate with no regret for how terrible of service we experienced; he instead threatened me for having complained about his employee/relative at Papa John's Inverness, FL. This is a great review that started out very concerning. We saw the TV ad for the new papadias sandwich and wanted to try it. When we looked up the Inverness, FL location (we won’t order carry out unless we make a visit to the restaurant first in case it is not presentable, especially the restrooms), we saw some disturbing on line reviews. Complaints about store cleanliness, rude owner and staff, and mediocre food. We went just before morning opening and customers waiting outside were warm and friendly (Hmm), the staff came right outside to cheerfully say the door was unlocked, “come on in” (Hmm). The restaurant was spotless (Hmm), the staff was friendly (Hmm), the wait time was reasonable (Hmm), the owner introduced himself and was just the nicest ever (Hmm). Then our papadias order came up. Great packaging! Great presentation! Great tasting cheesesteak papadias! Great! Great!! Great!!! This location is under newer management than when the bad reviews were submitted. I wanna start off by saying, I never received my food. The driver who was supposed to deliver my food to me never delivered it to me, but handed my food off to a different home instead of bringing the food back to the restaurant which I heard the gentleman on the phone. Tell him you should’ve brought it back here if you couldn’t find the home admitted that he couldn’t find my home now. Mind you I have my phone number email all of that Listed. When I made my order I will never order from Papa Johns from here ever again because the gentleman put in the system to have my order sent out today because I was not gonna get up again last night to redo it all over and have my son get woken up because I’m opening doors getting up out of bed getting in Bed so when I call today I’m being told I gotta pay another five dollar delivery fee but the messed up was not on my part. I can understand if the mess up was on my part then of course pay another delivery fee, but it’s not my mess up.
