Four Friars — Restaurant in Ionia

Ordered Takeout. Was told it would be ready in 20 minutes. Show up 25 minutes later. Bowling Alley is extremely busy which is great! Walked up an told the desk attendant I had a to go order. He told me someone would be with me shortly. Two others and I were waiting for food for 25 minutes before anyone came and asked if we were there for food.

The guy first in line's food was literally sitting in a warming bag on the counter the entire time. I asked for my order and was told they sent it out for delivery accidentally. This didn't make any sense because I NEVER gave an address or ever had delivery from there.

Now that our food is 45 minutes old I told the employee I didn't want it anymore. As I walked out she yelled "Not like we are trying to make a living"....I'm all in on supporting local businesses but Idc who you are, to be yelled at as a paying customer is hard to swallow.

**Also, from working in food service before, i'm pretty sure once food leave the property you are NOT allowed to bring it back and give it to a customer....

We went in on a Sunday and were the only customers. We were seated quickly and received our drinks immediately after that. We ordered a porky pig pizza and got bread sticks free (their current special on Sundays). There was a slight wait, which I understand as everything is made fresh. Both the pizza and the bread sticks came out piping hot and oh, so good! The porky pig is LOADED with toppings. Pulled pork, bacon, ham, BBQ sauce and cheese. I swear each slice is 3#. Lol. I feel bad that I often forget this option for dining out. Keep in mind, it's attached to the bowling alley so it's quite cool in the restaurant. Dress appropriately. The restaurant was clean, the server was very attentive, it appeared to be wheelchair accessible. There is plenty of off-street parking. The restaurant is child-friendly. I'm not sure what all they have for vegetarian options, but I can tell you their salads are also phenomenal. I particularly like the chef salad with sweet...

Seriously disappointed with Sundays dinner! We have always loved the pizza and other food. We got 3 pizzas for Sundays game, best part of ordering pizza on a Sunday is free bread sticks. Our friend arrived for pick up and much to our surprise they forgot the bread sticks. No big deal, we're understanding people and yes they did seem like they were training. So about 10 minutes later the three orders of sticks came out just in time for the big game. Now here's the sad part. The sticks were raw on the bottom. Like chewy, gooey raw dough. The pepperoni pizza had mushrooms onions and green peppers?? For some reason in the sauce or under the cheese at least. Why change something that was always so delicious! Had to throw most of it out due to it being raw and the food sensory...
