Bluewater Cafe — Restaurant in Ionia

Zero stars as far as I'm concerned. First time here and we won't be back. We came in on a Sunday just before noon. Immediately upon getting up to the back door to come inside we pass two employees standing outside smoking. As we go to walk in one of the employees says "Seat yourself". Once inside it's pretty busy. We walk in and can only find a small booth that was just cleaned, the employee was just walking away with the cart used to clean tables. She says " you are ALL sitting here?!" We are a family of 8, six children and two adults. We were not offered a bigger table. We sat for 15 MINUTES and were never even spoken to!! No one took a drink order, no one got us a menu, we were not acknowledged in any way. We watched people come in after us get drinks and place their orders. We got up and walked out past several more employees and were still never even acknowledged or spoken to. Out the back door past another employees on the phone and smoking. Maybe give less smoke breaks and actually acknowledge customers. We came in with 6 little kids that wanted pancakes and just left really...

Went here with my husband as a day date, and upon walking in looks great cute dinner. But the staff was not friendly and when we sat down the one waitress who did say hi to us was asked to not wait on us and it took another 5 mins before another woman walked over gave us menus asked our drink order, My husband ordered coffee and i ordered tea she brought my husband his coffee( to which the creamer was solid in the containers and the sugar was solidified)and forgot about my tea five mins later came back and after waiting on 3 tables who walked in after us and then asked me I am sorry I forgot what did you want to drink???? Like really it wasn't even that busy there were 5 waitresses . Then after i reminded her i ordered tea she waited on 4 more tables and five more mins went by and she still did not come ask if we would like to order. We will not...

First time ordering feom here so we ordered a few items. Did delivery and asked for non contact that was met by a sigh and an ohh k, we are not germ-a-fobes however I have children sleeping and was easier not not talking with someone while they were trying to rest. So that was off putting. Food: Chili cheese dog was good but needed more cheese to be called a chili cheese dog. Fries had no salt at all and could have been a bit more crispy, may have been the container hat made them a bit soggy so will eat in next time and re try them. The ranch may have been good however it was really warm from being in with the fires, might want to try another method for the ranch deliveries. Breakfast bowl was very good, taste was on point and well seasoned. Will need to retry this restaurant I’m order to go up in stars as maybe they were having an off...
