This place is an embarrassment. Not only did they treat me poorly, they almost ruined my ring. another thing to note, if you are below the age of 20 and you are getting an engagement ring resized, do not announce it is an engagement ring. The lady there lectured me about being young (19f) and it was absolutely not her job or place to do that. It was highly unprofessional and unnecessary. Here are some examples of what she said: "How long until you get married? Oh so two years? Good." "well me and my husband got married after a month of dating so the time together doesn't really matter." "You're a different person from age 19 to 20, and 20 and 21 are like night and day." it was so bad her husband had to tell her to quit lecturing me. I'll get judgement where ever I go, but a jewelry store was the last place I expected. When I did get my ring back, it was two different colors and they still let me pay for it. I was heart broken and inconsolable. When I went back they were kind and fixed their mistake. It was a white gold ring and I had no idea that the plating could come off and they omitted that knowledge from me but they had plenty of excuses for poor quality control when they addressed it. They offered to get it re-plated for free but I declined because I didn't want anyone associated with them to touch my ring. The unfinished ring was rough and was not polished and the laser lady left it somewhere so they assumed it was done. Didn't even look at it. Then, when polishing it, the same lady who judged me added too much polish which took 20+ minutes to fix, not a big deal, but then blamed the laser lady for putting too much on, but they told me it wasn't even polished and then said "Oh, maybe it was me." And then, a customer walked in and the lady said to me "I'm sorry you're unhappy with the polish." and I loudly announced that I wasn't mad about the polish, I am mad that they made me pay for an unfinished ring and they didn't catch mistakes that they have the equipment to be able to do. I didn't ask for a refund because I paid them to resize my ring and that's what they did. Horrible experience all the way around and the wife's behavior towards me was horrible. Worst I've ever been treated by someone and I've worked as a...
Read moreSeveral weeks ago I called to get information about repairing a watch for my brother who is in a correctional facility. The gentleman that i spoke with was very nice and helpful. However I called again today to ask another question and I was treated so poorly by Sabrina and the lady owner of the shop. This incident happened on September 16th 2020 at 1230 pm. They didnt even let me ask the question unlike the gentleman. They kept saying that since it wasnt my watch I had no rights to ask any questions. They both just cut me off mid sentence and threatened to call the police on me if I kept calling. This is very unprofessional. At least listen to the question and then decide if you can answer or not. All I wanted to know is if they replace a battery on waterproof watches since when they changed the battery for him now water gets inside his watch. Wow. If they had listened they would have understood that in essence it was a generic question that they could answer. Could have avoided a lot of trouble by just taking the time to listen first. I cant believe that the owner herself had poor customer service skills. Maybe she didn't see there was any value in providing good customer service to inmates or anyone related. Who does she think pays for watch repairs and any other goods that inmates buys? Family members of course who have the heart to deposit money for them. Or could it have been that I gave my name which is an obvious Latino name and was immediately cut off and refused service. I was in NO way rude which is something that im sure Sabrina will lie about to cover her unprofessionallism with this matter. And the lady owner immediately took sides without listening to my side of the story....
Read moreAbsolute appreciate and recommend Doods. They helped my husband design the perfect ring for me a year ago. Today I panicked when I was at work and noticed I was missing my diamond. I was so sure it was going to be a whole process and I would have to drop off my ring and wait for weeks then pay a pretty penny to fix it. I stopped by when I got out of work, just before closing and they were so helpful. They were able to fix my ring same day and replace the diamond, and even stayed late to fix my ring and didn't break the bank to do so. My husband and I chatted with them while they were fixing it and it was a wonderful experience, I was so happy to be able to go home with my fixed and polished ring. 100% will...
