Ordered a chicken quesadilla with extra chicken and I got extra chicken outside of the quesadilla as though that was not something that was implied explicitly. I feel like I shouldn't have to say put the extra chicken in the quesadilla that should totally just be implied explicitly. I mean it would be another thing if I requested extra chicken on the side but that still wouldn't make sense because that would be a side order separate from the quesadilla.
Restaurants that hate their customers never do well in the long run. I just don't understand why they would do something like this unless they're just trying to agitate their customers. I mean it is an unfortunate situation it's the only restaurant with that type of food in the town of Ipswich, so if they go out of business because they keep doing this kind of stuff it would be a loss to the town. At the same time you can't just be this hostile to your customers. At this point I now have to debate every time whether I go there or not, if it's worth it or not? Are they going to prepare the food the way that I ask them to or is it just a crapshoot?
I do hope that this is viewed as constructive criticism because again I don't want to see the town lose the restaurant, but at the same time the restaurant needs to have a little bit of self evaluation and determine whether or not this is how they want to be viewed by...
Read moreThis place has become a disaster. It used to be one of my favorite places in town, and I was going twice a week. Now, I really can’t make sense of going back.
They are frequently out of main food items, they dump a ton of excess liquid into the bowls, they skimp on certain items, the main lady who works the register is usually moody and rude. The building of their bowls and burritos have become awful.
The pricing is also sporadic, even for the same things. They always rush past the details screen that would show what they added for extras pricing, and jump to where only the total due is visible. Seemingly hoping that you don’t notice.
Today was the most extreme. The lady at the register tried to charge me $4.00 for adding sour cream, when the menu states it’s $0.49 extra. In no world would it ever be $4.00, but perhaps they have some issues and scamming their regular customers is their best solution.
I’m not sure why it is so difficult in there these days, but I’m truly sad about this outcome. Ipswich wants a good burrito place. They have so many problems they need to fix right now. It’s too far gone.
I can only hope for a change in management...
Read moreFood was very disappointing. Ordered $80 worth of food on DoorDash and only received half of it. Called the restaurant to resolve the issue and they dismissed my issue and hung up on me. One of the bowls I ordered was supposed to be chicken tikka masala and what I got was dry chicken with curry powder sprinkled on top. Since when is that Tikka Masala? The 6 other items missing from my order that the restaurant refused to send were only partially refunded to me through DoorDash. I essentially paid nearly $60 for two burritos, chips, and a joke of a tikka masala. Next time I feel like Mexican food I’m driving to La Victoria Taqueria in Beverly. A place I highly recommend as it is absolutely delicious and they have great service. People who actually care about their food. Burrito spice has gone downhill. I have never bothered leaving a review for any restaurant but this just really...
