Read moremy boyfriend and i were enjoying our time here, however, he accidentally spilled a bit of his coffee on our table. he used a few (maybe 5) napkins to clean up the mess from a container of napkins on a nearby counter. an employee (assuming the owner) came up to us and said verbatim “when a spill like this happens, you need to ask for a rag. these napkins are very expensive for me.” it was super off-putting, considering we had been minding our own business and he seemed to go out of his way to say something unnecessarily rude. i told him if the napkins weren’t meant for public use, then they shouldn’t be publicly displayed. he gave me a nasty look and my boyfriend and i left, as we no longer felt welcome. very disappointing experience that could’ve been avoided with better customer service. he could’ve come over with a rag and offered to help clean up the mess. won’t...
