We went here for a date night a few weeks ago. The place was pretty empty for how awesome of a restaurant this was, but I suppose it was kind of late. We started our meal with a Thai tea, a seaweed salad and Ipswich crab Rangoon. The Thai tea had a nice flavor and was not too strong. I really liked the seaweed salad, it had a nice ratio of seaweed to lettuce to cucumber. I think the crab Rangoons were alright, the shell was a little chewier than I'd like it to be, but the filling was nice, creamy, and you could definitely tell there was crab in it, and the sweet sauce it had was great, and not too syrupy. For the main course I got the crispy duck choo chee (recommended by our server,) and my girlfriend got the crispy chicken pad Thai. The duck choo-chee was an awesome recommendation, I was very impressed with the dish. The duck was super crispy, maybe a little dry, but still juicy! The curry complimented it perfectly, it was creamy, a little spicy, and complimented with a lime flavor to bring it all together. Also the rice was super sticky and it was the perfect trifecta of curry, rice, and duck. I think the star of the show really had to be the Crispy Chicken Pad Thai though, regardless of how much I liked the duck. The crispy chicken was some of the best I've ever had the breading was so crispy and flavorful and the chicken didn't get dried out, it was incredible, and the portion size was huge it covered the whole plate! The pad Thai was also really well done, the main flavors were spiciness and peanut, it had a hint of sweetness but the main flavor was not sweetness. Also it had big strips of translucent onions and scallions, it was a perfect meal. We loved the meal, and we were hoping to get dessert, but unfortunately the mangos they use for the mango sticky rice were out of season so they didn't offer it at the time we went, which I can respect, though I wish we could have tried it. Also to say a little about the atmosphere, I think it's a really beautiful place (the carpets might not be the best,) but I love the green color on the walls and they also have some of the best smelling soap in the bathroom, and the tables are well spread out and had plenty of room for all our food. The meal ended up costing about 75 dollars which was totally fair for the quality and service. Also at the end our server was so sweet, she was like "do you want more rice to take home with you? It's free!" There is no better way to get me and my girlfriend excited than free rice. Of course we got some free rice and had an amazing meal the next day with our leftovers. We love this place and can't wait to come back, I highly recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

I am so grateful for Spice here in Ipswich. My husband and I crave it on a regular basis. The new menu is excellent, and the staff are so thorough and remember us & make amazing recommendations for what we might like. Everything is always fresh, delicious, prepared with care, and delivered quickly & hot! We have our definite favorites (if you like cozy soups, you must try the kuai tiao noodle soup and the khao soi), but every time we try something new, we suddenly have new favorites. Before moving home to Ipswich, we lived in places where the food options were more diverse, and we miss that. The food at Spice Thai is a huge gift to this community. I can’t recommend it highly enough!

Great and fast service. The Ka-Pow Gai was so, so good. The sauce was perfectly spicy and aromatic, and i couldn't put down my fork. My significant other thoroughly enjoyed their shrimp and chicken Pad Thai. The host (owner?) was sure that we were satisfied and that our food was good. He refilled our water without asking two times. The cat and dog pictures that decorated the one wall and behind the counter were very funny and made my day. If I lived in the area, I would come once a week. Thank you very much!

Highly recommended!!!

If you want some authentic and delicious Thai food, this restaurant is the best!!!

I’ve been to Ipswich several times because I have families living there. But as a visitor from Asia who always want some rice for comfort, it’s always pretty hard to find a good Asian restaurant in this area. Luckily, I found this restaurant and got the most amazing Thai food through my whole trip! And the owner was supper friendly and recommended me lots of good dishes!

The owner mentioned the same location used to be another Thai restaurant. But they took over it in Dec 2022 and redesigned the menu. So I guess a lot people haven’t realize the restaurant has changed since then.

Last but not least is that the environment in the restaurant is super comfortable, so highly recommend to eat in with your friends...

My friend and I were excited to try s new Thai restaurant. Unfortunately, this was the worse dining experience I think I’ve ever had. My dish was the crispy chicken and fried rice. It was ok. Rice was mushy and very little flavor. We ordered the crispy Triangles that were fried filled with potatoes and peas. They were very small but really delicious! My friend’s order was not the correct dish. What made the experience so negative was how rude our waitress was!! The whole lunch was filled with dread over her rude interactions with us, and lack of communication! I’ve only refrained from not tipping a waitress once in my 40 yrs of dining out. The unexpected and frightening part of this experience was seeing our waitress running towards us when we left....She approached us aggressively and demanded a tip! We...
