This review isn’t about food quality as this is only my 2nd time eating Zaxbys which isn’t bad at all however this is a review for lack of customer service and customer care. In fast food honest mistakes happen which can be overlooked when handled correctly. One of my meals I had ordered and paid for wasn’t in the bag, okay no biggie so I called them and let them know of the error. I was apologized to and told to bring my receipt upon coming back which I did. At the register I explained we were missing a meal and a woman with blue braids caught a visible attitude as if I was lying or caused the error. She was rude and snippy as she asked where my bag was. I was home when I realized the mistake and wasn’t told to bring the food back just the receipt. She then said again with an attitude what did I have as she took and read my receipt that it was all the same meals. I also asked to make sure we received our extra sauce which I also did pay for and was told by another clerk well if it’s not on your receipt you have to pay for it.(I asked for my receipt back 3x to triple check that I paid for everything accurately & they never gave it back) I advised her upon ordering I made it clear to add extra sauce. Upon me waiting for my meal other customers also observed the rude behavior and commented on it. I received no additional apology and was treated as if I was lying about the meal or I was a inconvenience. I have no reason to try and receive an extra meal as I wasted more time energy and gas going back and forth to the location 2x. Read moreHad to change my review from 5 stars after my visit today. Too many young kids working and not enough oversight. Teach your folks when someone is ordering instead of asking the customer " is that all" several times maybe say "can I get you anything else" we used to have to upsell back in the day. "Would you like a drink with that". I get to the windows today and the young girl at the drive through register seemed to not want to give me a drink holder when asked. Of course she gave me one very thin carrier...fast forward not even out of the lot all the drinks all over my car floor. I ordered extra fries and toast. The fries were under and so was the toast. It's so disappointing to be rushed. Lose all my drinks when the very thin holder cracks in half and then get toast that's white on one side and fries that are 30 seconds past raw in the middle. Reminder to always check your food before driving off. If I were Zaxbys management I'd ask caremark to do some secret shops. A job should be a thing of pride and even if your not proud pretend to be.$28 for two traditional wing meals and extra fry all wasted. Money is too tight for takeout to flop a treat night. First off, my family gave them a LOT of slack for frequent missing ingredients on our Cobb salads. The quality of this meal was often hit and miss. We kept going because we still enjoyed the food and service.
One day, out of the blue, we go to pick up our online order through the drive-through to be told that they no longer allow online pick-up through the drive through. The manager initially did not bother to come to the window when questioned about this, but wanted to pass messages through his employee. He finally came over on my wife's demand and explains the reason for no pick-up is due to recent credit card fraud, saying that there is no record of anyone driving through in these instances. We both then pointed to the video camera which stares you in the face at the drive-through window and the manager says that they JUST put that camera up for that same reason. This is a lie, because that camera has been there for as long as I can remember!
