B´s Country Cafe and Catering — Restaurant in Iron Mountain

My wife and I have been coming here since we moved to Iron Mountain over a year ago. When we first started going to the restaurant, the service and food were good, and we got our food promptly. However, recently, that has changed. If there is an issue, I will always give the restaurant a free pass. Everyone has that one bad day. But it has been bad the last three times I have gone to the restaurant.

For the first incident, I went there for breakfast, and the cook did not know how to cook sunny-side-up eggs and she forgot to add cheese to my hash browns. She did a really good job on the eggs, and I had her throw the cheese on my hash browns.

For the second incident, I had to wait over an hour and 20 minutes to get my breakfast. It was busy; however, the waitress never apologized and the cooks complained non-stop that people were ordering food. It was nothing special, it was eggs, hash browns, and sausage.

The last time and final time I will go to B's Country Cafe happened last Saturday. My wife and I dropped our dog off for grooming, and we planned on getting breakfast and running some errands before we had to pick our dog up. We had to wait over an hour, and we still had not gotten our food. It had been about 20 minutes since the waitress checked in on us and about 10 minutes since my coffee was empty. I had to go up and ask for a refill. We paid for my coffee and told them to cancel our order. We will not...

Toke my family out for breakfast order $40 in food food was ok but waitress was very rude we ask her if we could get more waters and a coke she said it will be awhile we waited over 20 mins for drinks she comes back over says you need a box to go where like can we get our drinks she looks at us rolls her eyes and goes over to get the drinks and whispers something as she walks away under her breath then goes over to the cook starts talking and looks over at us we did nothing wrong i had a nice tip for her but after that rudeness i wasn't leaving a nice tip like that she was very very rude I'm sorry you shouldn't treat your customers like that the food was ok but for what we got wasn't worth the price my daughter dont eat much so my husband ask for a extra plate so he could give her his 2 small pancakes and she said I'll ask where paying for it so you shouldn't have to ask witch my 5 year old only ate 1 pancake why we didn't want to order a whole meal cause she dont eat much all in all very rude snotty waitress will never go back holiday kitchen is my favorite breakfast place good amount for your money worth and wonderful waitress you...

My family came in 6 of us for the very first time this past Saturday The whole experience had taken one hour and a half from time we got there to paying bill. We were sat in the back and people after us were served first. We ordered soup, breakfast dishes and it had taken a very long time to get out food and we just watched people eat and leave. Finally we got our food, burnt French toast, had to go back for got toast, and never got our soups, told waitress forget it after we got breakfast dishes. She brings the bill to the counter not detailed up. I said it looked high, and she added up again another total. Finally didn,t want to waste any more time was there for already 1.5 hours. I am gathering she never took off the soups from the bill we never got. Not sure where the owner was at. Waitress asked me if that was correct tip. I said really. I make my way up to Iron Mountain frequently and was looking for alternative to some of other breakfast places. We were all disappointed.
