In short, Great Gelato, beautiful store, bad service. Result is I’m not repeating my visit.
With a few more details, It was our first time to this store at the spectrum. Gelato was really good and everyone liked it. Seasonal flavors offered more American style flavors with a European twist like sea salt caramel cheesecake. The store is very nicely lit and designed inside. The human and service part of our experience was dismal at best. To pay 30 bucks for 4 small cups/tiny in American standards and get a service like this is not a way to create repeat customers.
The short guy behind the fridge was annoyed immediately off the bat from the first interaction and was not welcoming. I said I wanted to see the flavors but he was not having it as if people come in and know what they want at a new store. He clearly did not want to give samples. We only asked for 1 and he acted like it was the end of the world. As new customers that is essential to see how the gelato is. Then the manager I’m guessing, guy with a different shirt and mustache came and helped and he def short changes you for the small piccolo and puts half the amount the other guy did. It’s ice cream at the end dude. You’re charging for glorified flavored frozen milk. Who cares just fill up that tiny cup and move on. Was not welcoming either and seemed overworked and annoyed.
Bathroom was locked so we couldn’t wash our hands or kids hands.
Napkins tear up when you try to wipe your hands with as they are cheaply made and stick to your skin.
Tables outside were dirty and we had to wipe them down to sit.
All I can say is, I don’t care how good your gelato/ice cream is, if your service is trash it makes it undesirable and I’m not coming back and not bringing any family or...
Read moreHoly cannoli, Batman! I've had my fair share of gelato, but Bacio di Latte has risen the bar to a level that I'm not sure I can come down from. Bacio di Latte delivers on all levels... quality ingredients, taste, experience, and amazing customer service.
First time trying them (or not)? No worries... they'll allow you to sample different flavors. I did not witness anyone being limited regarding samples, although I will say most customers were very courteous and didn't ask to try every flavor.
Flavors are beyond delectable, offering something for everyone. We ordered waffle and sugar cones, some lined with pistachio cream or Nutella, and some with nuts added. We tried Caffè & Caramellate, 3 Cioccolati, Bacio di Latte, Caramello Salto, and Crema Torino. What a treat!
I'm looking forward to a summer rewards of gelato and can not wait to try one of their delicious looking lattes or affogato. We will definitely...
Read moreBacio di Latte offers truly great ice cream—smooth, rich, and full of flavor. The store itself is beautifully designed with an elegant, upscale vibe that makes it a joy to visit. I really love the aesthetic and ambiance. However, the customer service was a bit disappointing. When we tried to order a Mocha, the staff member didn’t even know it was on the menu. Instead of checking the menu, she insisted they didn’t have it. Eventually, she had to pull out the employee book to figure out how to make it. That lack of product knowledge really stood out in an otherwise polished setting, so I’m taking off one...
