By the looks of the interior design of this donut shop you would think that the donuts are delicious, but honestly in my experience one of the worst donuts I’ve ever had. I got a powdered donut with cream filling and it was disgusting, the cream was spoiled and the donut was stale. Not only that, the owner lied to my mother about the meat in the ham and cheese croissant being “turkey” knowing that my mom cannot eat pork due to her religion. The owner was extremely greedy and simply just wanted my mom to buy the croissant even though my mom insisted many times. There are fancier donuts, and much worse donuts, but for the best general donut store Mags wins! The staff is friendly and quick, they have a great selection, and they are always making fresh donuts. Pro-Tip, go see what is on the cooling racks (just to the left of the case) and get a warm donut if possible, they are always better. There is just something off about the larger donut chains. I dropped into Mag's yesterday and believe that after 18 years of searching for "that donut spot," I have found it.
