@ocfeed follow for things to do in OC! @paderiabakehouse is my favorite cookie in OC. 17935 MacArthur Blvd, Irvine, CA 92614 18279 Brookhurst St #1, Fountain Valley, CA 92708 3032 Wilshire Blvd Suite E, Santa Monica, CA 90403 Ever since I got the Costco cookie and thought it was meh, but the video got a million views, I’ve been on a bit of a chocolate chip cookie bender. After tasting mediocrity, I returned to my tried and true all time favorite - Paderia. They have often been named the best chocolate chip cookie, and I agree. Right now, their staple flavors are: triple chocolate, chocolate walnut, peanut butter chocolate, oatmeal raisin, sea salt chocolate chip. They’re thick pillows of delicious cookie goodness, and I could eat 5 in one day honestly. I don’t even really like sweets but I LOVE a chocolate chip cookie. This one is substantial, balanced, and basically a little pocket of heaven. They’re all about $5.25, but they’re so big they’re heavy. Sometimes I pop them in the microwave if I’ve ordered a few and they’ve been sitting, and the ooey gooeyness is crazy. Also their banana pudding is SO GOOD - also one of my favorites ever. What’s your favorite cookie? (Might make this a series. The one from @thepizzapress is seriously underrated). . . . #irvine #fountainvalley #orangecounty #chocolatechip #chocolatechipcookie #cookies #feast #mm #eater #wheretogo #thingstodo #lafood #baked #sweettooth

Paderia Bakehouse is a small bakery with three locations in Orange County and Los Angeles. They specialize in Portuguese egg tarts, cookies, and banana pudding. The egg tarts are the star of the show at Paderia Bakehouse. They are made with a flaky crust and a rich, custardy filling. The cookies are also very good, and they come in a variety of flavors, including chocolate chip, peanut butter, and coconut blueberry. The banana pudding is also a popular item, and it is made with fresh bananas, vanilla wafers, and whipped cream. Paderia Bakehouse is a great place to go for a quick and delicious treat. The pastries are all made fresh daily, and the service is friendly and efficient. If you are looking for a delicious and affordable bakery, I highly recommend Paderia Bakehouse. Here are some pros and cons of Paderia Bakehouse: Pros: Delicious pastries, especially the egg tarts and cookies Friendly and efficient service Affordable prices Convenient locations Cons: The bakery can get crowded, especially on weekends The hours of operation are limited The parking can be difficult to find at the Fountain Valley location Overall, I would highly recommend Paderia Bakehouse to anyone looking for a delicious and affordable bakery. The pastries are all made fresh daily, and the service is friendly and efficient. I would definitely come back again. Here are some tips for visiting Paderia Bakehouse: Go early in the day, especially on weekends, to avoid the crowds. If you are looking for a specific pastry, call ahead to make sure they have it in stock. If you are on a budget, there are a few pastries that are less expensive, such as the plain malasada and the chocolate chip cookie. If you are looking for a place to sit and relax, the Fountain Valley location has outdoor seating. I hope this review helps you decide whether or not to visit Paderia Bakehouse. If you do decide to go, I hope you enjoy your pastries!

OMG THIS PLACE IS GORGEOUS! The aesthetics itself did it for me. Came here for the 2nd time because my drink from the first time got me hooked! I ordered their strawberry horchata for my daughter and I tried their classic horchata latte (with caffeine) this time around. The order was quick and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. They have a variety of yummy cookies, one we had tasted due to their complimentary tasting plate that had a sample of the SMORE'S cookie. It was DIVINE! I'm sure all their cookies are delicious after sampling the SMORE'S one. I have nothing negative to say about this place. Go check 'em out & support this location in Irvine, because the only other location is in Santa Monica! :( Thank me later :) xx.

I'm so happy that this second location opened closer to me! If you love the Paderia in Fountain Valley, this one will blow you away. They have perfected everything there is to love about Paderia - the delicious food and drinks, the small town feel with their kind and welcoming customer service, all of the details in their store design, and the overall experience you get as a customer.

Everything you get will be good, but I am currently addicted to their egg tarts, the blueberry coconut cookie, and the Citrus Refresher drink - I could drink that by the gallon if they sold it! My daughter also loves their iced coffee and their Vietnamese coffee - I couldn't believe the flavor in the iced coffee. We just drank it black and it was so good and flavorful as is.

Seasonal: A must try - their lemon blueberry cheesecake. It was so good that it left me speechless - one of the owners was trying to ask me something and I couldn't respond because I was in a moment with the cheesecake, LOLLL ughhh. Wish I could eat that every day.

I have taken a few of my co-workers here and they are addicted to the banana pudding and the chocolate sea salt cookie, and one of their husbands ask them to make dessert runs after work, lol that's how good everything is!

Important: I was impressed with how they opened during COVID and all of the safety measures they have in place for safe purchases and social distancing - floor markers for distancing, masks required for entry, contactless payments, masks and gloves on all staff, signs for no dining in, and a PA outside for customers to hear when their order is ready. You feel safe as a customer and it helps you enjoy the experience with company.

Definitely stop by if you are in the area - you can even call ahead for...

I want to begin with what inspired me to leave a review: this location has very poor service with regard to online orders. I'm someone that does not like having to interrupt people while they work so that they can tend to my specific needs. I want to be able to walk in, grab my order and go. At this location, it almost seems like the employees are instructed to not ask you if you need help. You could stand at the pick up counter with your digital receipt handy for 20 minutes while they take in-store orders and no one will ever ask if you need help or if you're picking up -- all while your order is sitting on the table behind the counter, inaccessible for you to grab.

This isn't a complicated issue. Every other restaurant that I've ever placed a to-go order from has it figured out. The orders are either in a place that's accessible to customers and there is an honor system, or the employees are proactive at helping people who are picking up orders. This is the only place I've ordered food from that consistently has nobody helping with to-go orders, forcing you to stand in line with people placing orders in person.

With regard to the food:

The desserts are good. I'm fond of the sea salt chocolate chip cookies and the banana pudding. They also have seasonal cheesecakes which are also good.

The drinks are not good. They are overwhelmingly sweet. I do not recommend the drinks.

The atmosphere is dim and warm. Wouldn't be my first choice to get...
