The Square — Local services in Irvine

So this is a very nice place to get a bite to eat. There is plenty of outdoor seating and if you go with a group you don't have to eat the same thing.

Parking... There is actually plenty of parking. People are lazy and want to park by the door. Ironically when it rains and you have a true need to park closer, the place is a ghost town. Anyway, architects know people are lazy and if they don't they better learn fast, especially in SoCal. So why did they make it so difficult to use 60% of the parking behind the buildings? If you are going to place the buildings in the middle, don't design them as if they were going to be placed at the edge of the property! There is nothing to be done now unless you transform one restaurant into a wide walkway. That's not going to happen...

It is what it is and most of us need more exercise anyway. Loop around the buildings and you'll find plenty of parking in the rear. Just no doors to go inside!

I ate at The Flame Broiler, the food was great. But the parking is atrocious! You can drive around and around looking for a space to park sometimes it's easier to find a parking space in the back of the restaurant buildings instead of in the parking area in front of the restaurant buildings. But then you have to walk through the table section to get to the restaurants it's not really that far to walk but if you don't like to walk finding a space to park in the front is challenging. Parking is funny like bumper cars . NOTE: No reasonable parking in Irvine this is horrible parking. City doesn't post parking yet tickets, crooked its rigged a money grab City should get slapped with a huge class action law suit. I understand a law suit is being filed.
