TP TEA – Irvine — Restaurant in Irvine

9/10/22 - their first day of soft opening.

Went around 1:30 and it wasn’t crowded but by the time I left, it was poppin. Still no line though so that was nice.

Got mango boba milk tea (half sugar), mango matcha (half sugar), fantastic fruit tea (half sugar), and mango crema (half sugar).

I’ll only review mango boba mt first since that’s the only one I’ve tried so far. Great fresh tasting mango milk tea along with nicely cooked chewy boba balls with hint of sweetness. The only downside was the crushed ice which I found odd since other drinks used blocked ice. Now, I hate crushed ice so had to take off one star there but that may change depending on other drinks.

Seems like it was running rather smoothly considering it’s the first day. They don’t give you a receipt for whatever reason so you have to remember your order #.

This shop is also not at a great location by all means since there’s really not much here but thankful we have TP Tea in irvine now. Irvine boba game is now seriously strong.

Prices are in line with my expectations since this is a premium boba shop.

Awesome boba drinks!

Although the menu isn't extensive with many different flavors, there are different types of teas and they're all brewed nicely. We were pleasantly surprised by our drinks and would stop by more often! Our friend recommended trying their QQ Noodles as a topping and we enjoyed it, but think boba would've been better.

Honey Jasmine Green Tea: 10/10 - light and refreshing Passion Fruit Green Tea: 10/10 - amazing flavor and liked how they don't add passionfruit seeds like other places QQ Noodles (Topping): 7/10 - good, but a bit too thin for our liking

Their mobile kiosks make it super easy to order from and the workers are very approachable if you have any questions. It's located in a plaza that isn't very popular so there are plenty of parking spaces. The interior is fairly small with only a couple of tables, but still quite spacious.

Came here for the first time with my friends cause it was recommended. It being the first time here, it’s always hard to know what to expect with sugar levels and how they make their drinks — however, Carol who took our order was super helpful!

Not only was she so patient as we were making our orders, she also took the time to suggest adjustments to cater to our needs, guiding us as we chose sweetness levels and toppings. Though it was a short interaction, Carol gave exceptional service and made us feel very welcomed that day!

I ended up going with the Tie Guan Yin Milk Tea, 80% sweet with grass jelly. It definitely was what I wanted and both my friends also enjoyed their drinks (they went with 50% sweet & boba). I tried their drinks and the boba was so fresh and a great texture — definitely will...
