Update: I just discovered that I was charged twice in different amounts. I called them three days ago, but I haven't heard back yet. I don’t believe Show Hot Pot is being honest. I've contacted my bank to dispute the charges. While their scale may be normal, it seems that they submerge the food in water, which makes it weigh more. That's likely why the same amount of food feels heavier and ends up being more expensive. ————— When I compare my experience at Show Hotpot to YGF, I noticed that I took a similar amount of food—perhaps even a little less at Show Hotpot—but it felt about twice as heavy as what I had at YGF. The accuracy of the scale seems questionable. At YGF, when I was hungry, I weighed my food, and it came to 0.83 pounds. I had leftovers from that meal. The staff is really rude. I called them for order and when I ask what’s included in the package. She told me you should take the website. I said yes I check the website but all the drinks are sold not for the package. She is very impatient. I can’t understand I am the customer to here not begging for food. There are so many Hotpot restaurants in Irvine. I strongly do not recommend this one. Terrible service.

If I can give the restaurant a 0 star I would. The hygiene is extremely poor, and the service attitude is bad. Every time I eat here, I get diarrhea. The meat slices are even black. When I asked them to replace it with some fresh meat, they directly told me, “All our meat is fresh.”
