Di Memo's Pizza — Restaurant in Irving

We just had the very best pizza in DFW bar none. We were greeted by a nice smiling guy (Leyva) and our experience only went up from there! We both ordered a 14 inch pizza which, other than their 10 inch personal pizza is the small. It is enough for two to share easily. They also have a 16, 18 and 20 for hardier appetites or crowds to share. I got a meat lovers w/added italian sausage (it's homemade and sliced) and fresh minced garlic. Husband ordered half chicharron and half cabeza w/added jalapenos. This place has an interesting concept of mexican and italian and it is the best of both worlds. They have pasta as well as tacos but I don't think either could top the pizzas. The mexican pizza was served with both red and green salsas in addition to the traditional shakers of red chili flakes, parmesan and oregano already on the table. Presentation is amazing on a tiered rack with your pan for eating on the bottom and pan with the pizza on top with a spatula. Nice.

I think they have a buffet with pizza during the week. There are very artistically done murals on the walls of Italy and Mexico. Both booth and table seating with an area in the back for a large group. A+ service from our smiling guy who was attending to the entire restaurant by himself I might add and doing a wonderful and timely job even refilling our drink before having to ask. This was a delightful dining experience and again, The Best Pizza...

My once a week go to place has turned into my NEVER again place.

They have moved to a new building and I assume they think that means it's just automatically going to be a better restaurant. No!

The normal meal came with a salad, now they charge you for the salad....$7. Seven dollars for lettuce and little vinegar and oil.

Service was so horrible today that I came close to checking the kitchen to make sure there were people back there. It got lonely sitting at the table forever with nothing to do but count the dirty spots within the restaurant. There were plenty. I was busy.

If they have to raise prices in order to pay for pest control, they should have saved up a little change before moving. But they won't last long in their "new and unimproved" place with prices like they are now, dirt in corners inside, service from people who apparently get lost and can't remember what they're doing, and for the mere fact there are much much better places in the area that don't look like a hole in the wall, smell like the drain in a carwash, and know how to honestly run a restaurant and keep regular customers.

AND, I've noticed they respond to complaints by saying they've not "serviced" the person who leaves a bad review. Serviced? ...

I felt harassed in this place 😖. I’m a delivery driver. I went to pick up an order. a chubby man with eyeglasses older than me that was in the cashier Ask me for the order name. And the order was not ready. Then this guy left the cashier and came close to me to start asking me personal question. Like how much I earn? And if I like to work for him. I said no. And I just stayed In my phone trying to ignore him. But he continue talking to me asking me things. Then he said that he would like to do delivery as well. He asked me for my phone number and he said that one day we can hang out 🤢 and I can show him how to do delivery. Nasty man 🤢. I can be his daughter. Please do something with this kind of man. I felt harassed. He need to respect all the woman that go to this place. Because I know that if he make me feel uncomfortable there is more woman that this situation happened too. I never will accept an order for this place anymore and I did a report with the app that I was working. Hopefully restaurant did something and this situation never happened with...
